Such an adorable inn in the Manchester area. I ended up booking this place bc the hotel my friends were staying in was like $800 a night versus the $200 something here. Honestly, this place was waaaay nicer too, in my opinion. My room was large, even if somewhat outdated, but God, the view of the forest from the room's large windows was unbelievable. I was mesmerized watching the falling leaves from the trees. There was a lounge area on the first floor with a coffee bar, seating, games, etc. I wish the fireplace was going, but my girlfriends and I split a bottle of wine and hung out for a few hours. Awesome inn that I would definitely stay at again.

This is a roadside gem in the cutest town! I posted pics of our room. Very retro and very large. Room was incredibly clean. Small world! The owner Mike was originally from my hometown area and graduated the same year as ne (different schools). He also knew my best friend. We are from Indiana, mind you. Great stay, great people, great inn.

This is a very cute inn that the owners really care about. It has nice updates while still preserving the Mid-century feel of when the inn was built. If you want a unique place that isn’t a typical chain hotel you hind everywhere this is it! Great pool and backyard space!

Just got home from our very enjoyable 5 night stay at the Toll Road Inn. The owners, Mike & Virginia were very friendly & informative. The rooms were very clean as were the rest of the hotel and grounds. Beds were very comfy and the view out the window of our King room was very relaxing, especially the sound of the babbling brook out back. The pool & hot tub came in quite handy, as did the complimentary coffee day & night. We put our discounted tickets to the Dorset Theater & Hildene Lincoln Family Home to good use. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

Clean, spacious rooms with modern decor. Very comfortable, extra large bed with soft pillows, felt like being home. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and flexible with our arrival time and made our checkin and checkout easy. Great location with plenty of choices for dinner. We ate at Pearl's Place and Pantry less than .25 mile away. Dutton Farm Stand is close by and they also sell a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, craft beers and wine. We had to wake up early and it was nice the Toll Road Inn had a "serve yourself" coffee station in the atomic era lounge, which we loved.Wish we were able to spend more time at the Toll Road Inn to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the property, the pool and jacuzzi. Can't wait to visit again, this is on our way to Kingdom Trails and it's the perfect midpoint rest stop. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

We loved our recent stay at the Toll Road Inn. Our room was very big and exceptionally clean. It was beautifully and tastfully decorated while showcasing the history of the hotel. Our family loved the lounge room with games and books and a big fireplace. The views from the room were spectacular and walking to the brook was such a treat.

I wasn't going to write a review but I thought people should know. When I checked in I told the owner that I had extreme sensitivity to chemicals and not to clean my room. One afternoon I could tell by the smell that someone had been in my room and I wiped down all the surfaces so as to not get too sick. That evening there was a note under my door saying he had deep cleaned my carpet and charged me $150. I told him I instructed him not to clean my room and was being affected by the chemicals. I told him in over 50 years of travelling no one had ever charged me for cleaning. I don't know what was on the carpet or why he thought it's not his responsibility to clean a room without charge. I don't know why he didn't apologize and kept insisting he didn't do anything wrong. I was almost in tears. (I'm a 72 year old widow.) I had to stay because I was with my family (who were staying in different room) even though I felt unsafe. If you have environmental allergies know that they do not care. They also have no coffee makers in the room, no bathrobes, no decent toiletries and no do not disturb signs. There is no food on the premises and the refrigerators are very very small. The property is beautiful but unlike the Ipswich Inn where I am now they know nothing about hospitality. I left the room as I always do - extremely neat with a tip for the cleaning service. There are many lovely inns in Manchester who will make you comfortable, respect your health and your privacy, give you what you expect in an inn. I recommend you stay in one of those.

This place doesn't look like much from the street side, but get into the room and it's a different story. Large window to outside where there are gardens, Adirondack chairs and a babbling brook. Also a very nice pool. Innkeeper very hospitable and the the bed was super comfortable. Will return.

We just spent three days here and it was very relaxing. The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable, and we didn’t hear another guest. The inn has the quaint feel of it’s mid-century roots, but with modern comforts like crisp linens, a mini fridge, and a well-stocked coffee bar in the lounge. The pool was heated and secluded, and we really enjoyed walking down to the brook. Thankfully the floods spared the inn, and we were able to still enjoy the many fun activities and great restaurants nearby. We look forward to visiting in the winter too!

Quiet inn with beautiful and well maintained backyard and pool! Stayed here for a Dorset VT wedding and got there from Manchester easily. Don’t remember manager’s name but he was helpful and kind, and we didn’t even see any other guests for the 2 days we were there. Great for privacy. Look no further for a relaxing stay!

I recently visited the charming Toll Road Inn, located in Manchester, Vermont, and absolutely loved my stay. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and attentive owners who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was beyond exceptional. I found the hotel to be impeccable with a sense of freshness and calmness throughout.I found the pillows and bed to be very comfortable. The beds were elegantly enveloped in crisply fresh white sheets just like the beds you find at luxury hotels but with a true homey like feel when sleeping. The night was pleasantly quiet, despite the long busy weekend, and I got to enjoy a restful sleep. It is evident that the owners take great pride in their hotel and love what they do. First time visiting Manchester, Vermont and so I had many questions about what places to visit with young children. The owners happily shared valuable information about local attractions to visit and places to eat in Manchester and nearby towns. If going in summer, I recommend bringing your bathing suit to cool-off in the nice large hotel pool. If going in winter, they have a jacuzzi that’s open year round, so can always pack a bathing suit just in case.I really recommend staying at Toll Road Inn when visiting Manchester, Vermont. I’m sure you’ll find it hard to leave and will look forward to going back, just like my family and I did. <3

The inn is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning mountain views. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. We will definitely be back and recommend this inn as a top choice for travelers visiting the area. We went with family and friends and has a wonderful stay
