My fiance and I stayed here for a weekend getaway in August 2020 and it was just what we needed. The pool was clean, as well as our rooms private hot tub. The room was super cute and spacious. The Yeti cooler that is provided help keep a few cocktails cool to enjoy on our back deck. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Many hiking trails near by and a variety of restaurants down the road. I would recommend this motel to anyone!Nearby activities: Many hiking trails nearby and a variety of restaurants.

Upon arrival, no one was present at the reception desk. There was a note hanging on the door that no one was there and that we should call. Of course, this is quite expensive for us as Europeans to have to call with your own cellphone in the US. An on-site phone would have been more convenient. The room and bathroom were spacious. From our balcony we had a wonderful view over the beautiful garden. We had booked a room with a jacuzzi. Very nice to sit in this. The television had a lot of channels, very cool. The shower needed a little more pressure. The biggest downside to this motel is the bed: so hard! I didn't get a good night's sleep because of it.

Beware the adage, 'you get what you pay for.'It's a motel, not a hotel. Keep that in mind and you won't be too disappointed. One of the more affordable options in the area. We paid 385 for two nights for a two queen room. It was okay. The hinges are rusted and that's a good warning sign about how damp the room gets even with the AC running. It's August in Vermont, so that's that. The shower curtain was filthy, the bed had some strange marks on it, and the room was clearly not cleaned recently. They were out of body wash, so bring your own or be prepared to ask for some. The shower head was absolutely disgusting. The service was good, solid communication from the staff over call and text.I wouldn't stay here again but there are definitely worse options.

Bunk beds plus king size bed in each room is perfect for groups of four to a room! Bathroom sink has no space to put toiletries on, but walk-in shower is great. Lovely space in the back, service is super friendly and helpful.

Rest was a solid stay, contactless check in, free coffee and doughnuts from 8-10. We had the king bed with the hot tub and it was really nice the first two nights but we had most the motel to ourselves. When we did get an odd group of older people next door and a family a few down it wasn't as pleasant. I don't blame the motel but the experience tells me a romantic getaway should be spent elsewhere as noise was a factor both into the night and out in the hot tub after a long day. It didn't have much privacy. I'd say this is probably a great spot for families. However during the off-season it's location for all of western Vermont and even Massachusetts is ideally located.Rooms: Very clean, Roku tv, hot tub for 2/3Nearby activities: Restaurants and shopping in Manchester and plenty of rural activities any other direction.Safety: Double locks on main door. Sliding door lock and extra wood for blocking.Walkability: Safer to drive. No sidewalks nearby

Nice cozy motel that was modern and very clean. Ryan and Chris were very hospitable and friendly. 20 minutes to Stratton and 1-2 miles to the town of Manchester. Lots of good options near by. Jacuzzi rooms were great. We enjoyed Bobs diner and Up for breakfast. We will be back.

We just stayed here Christmas week. The hotel room was very clean, modern and updated. Looks exactly like it does in the picture. The staff answered my call on Christmas Day and helped with recommendations for restaurants, and places to get food. There is coffee and donuts every morning :) in the office. It is located so close to Stratton Mountain and restaurants in Manchester. Highly recommend!

Loved it so much! Our porch light was out and they were unable to fix that so we had to use our flashlights on our phones but other than that it was

Nope. Not restful at all. Just left room 10. Honestly the mattress they have in there is unacceptable. Bumpy beyond anything we’ve ever slept on. Not sure how they’re using that and thinking it’s ok. Worst night rest ever.. and honestly we’re not picky. Separately the shower was a mere trickle and not even enough water pressure to get shampoo out of hair. We left happy that we didn’t have another night there. They need to check that room’s conditions and update/repair before bringing in other guests.

New owners were accommodating when we asked for early check in. We stayed in room with hot tub on balcony which was freshly cleaned and hot when we got there. The room has been newly renovated with great taste. Yeti cooler with ice packs instead of fridges worked.Biggest disappointment were the mattresses. Did not sleep due to being able to feel coils. At first we thought they had forgotten to put a mattress on top of box spring….Desperately needs to have better beds. The large property with fire pit, picnic tables, pond with gazebo were very well maintained. It was nice to have the pool but it could have been cleaner.I wanted to leave review with Trip Advisor but new name is not recognized.

The room my partner and I shared at Rest was clean, modern, and tastefully appointed with a simple but lovely mix of contemporary and mid-century touches. It had everything I want and appreciate on a trip: pristine shower, plentiful towels, USB ports and electric outlets for charging devices, new wall-mounted AC, wifi, Roku TV, and a beautiful view out the window. The mattress on the bed was firm, which our backs appreciated after 4+ hours on the road. The reception area had donuts and coffee in the mornings. Most importantly, the service was impeccable. My partner and I came for a wedding and were forced late at night to find an alternative to the wedding party accommodations in a nearby “luxury” stay, where we had a terrible experience. When we called Rest, we immediately connected with the host whose friendly and laidback demeanor put us at ease after a very long day. I’m so glad we stumbled on this place, which is conveniently located near hiking trails, local downtown area, and a cute farm stand across the way.Rest, a Modern Motel, lives up to its name.

I'm going to be nice because the price was right and the owners turned an old roadside motel into something nice. And it is great that they allow dogs. The only thing that I found to be issue was the shower water pressure. Hopefully the owners know this is an issue and are looking at ways to improve the water pressure.

A hidden gem in pricey Manchester! We had such a nice stay at Rest over the summer! The owners were completely lovely, and the room was spacious, well styled, and very comfy. We were so stoked to have a private hot tub off our room! Would recommend to anyone, and look forward to staying again ? ps they have dog friendly rooms too
