Myself and another customer were ignored for a long stretch while the owners were both on speaker phone to a family member. I echo what another reviewer said about getting no indication my transaction was complete. Hate to knock locals, but it is what it is.

I don't know which place all these reviewers went to but I have gone to I Ship Express twice in the last few months and found them nothing but helpful and nice. I wish the internet and reviews in particular weren't the dumping ground for people with criticisms and unrelated unhappiness. It's a shipping place and they do a great job and have a rational explanation for those posted complaints. Let's all make the world a slightly better place and give our friends, neighbors and small businesses a little bit of patience and grace.

My wife and sister stopped in here to send home 2 packages each back to their homes in California by FedEx. My wife said it was not a pleasant experience as she got into a disagreement with the owner Joy. She left feeling nerved out and shaky. She wanted to use ground and bill my FedEx account because I have a discount attached to it. Owner said they couldn't send it ground or if she did, she would have to pay full price up front. Which made no sense at all. So, she had to send the packages by air that cost us about $140 more. One package was 53 pounds and being it was 3 lb over 50 FedEx charges extra $30+ handling fee. It would been nice to mention to her just take 3 lb out to save that extra fee. It was just clothing. My sister-in-law sent her 2 packages by ground and paid by credit card. Her bill was over $212. I called FedEx for an estimate what her shipments should cost and was quoted around $138. So, they marked it up around $70 or more for them. Also found out this type of mom & pop places can charge whatever they want except they get nothing when you charge it to an account. Hence them telling my wife to pay up front initially. So, beware places like these can make FedEx look bad for adding exuberant charges and giving false information. Unfortunately, being in remote areas you don't have many choices and this place is obviously taking advantage of people.

the owners responses to low reviews are passive aggressive and show their childish behavior. They should start looking at negative reviews as an opportunity to change and improve, or at least to give an apology, sincere or not, in hopes to change the customers mind of the business and give a 2nd chance. But immediately getting defensive shows the business has no problem with hurting their reputation and will only get worse now. One thing small business owners constantly complain about is customers choosing to shop at chain stores, but then fail realize why they shop at these stores and why they’re so successful. Meanwhile I’m looking forward to the day a UPS store finally comes to Bennington County and puts this sad place out of its misery.

Wow. Where do I begin? You walk in and all you see are racks, no humans. Masks are still required, which is whatever, but the woman acted like I had the plague when I approached the counter. She was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. Also, this location "can't read QR codes" I mean evidently it's not 2022 in there. When I was done I didn't know if i was done, she gave me no receipt, and said nothing so I walked out. I'd give 0 stars if I could.In response: I respect small business and understand the precautions that are taken. But the fact is you were very rude, and many other reviews say the same thing.

Efficient, helpful service and fair prices. Knowledgeable when it comes to international shipping and customs forms, too.P.S., if you use your online shipping account, you might save a few dollars, but you make it impossible for these guys to pay their rent. Please support local business / economic recovery by paying directly :)

Nope...not going to let this slide again. I really like to support local businesses but enough is enough! Place closed AGAIN early on a Saturday when it was the only time I could get there...couldn't even stay open to 2:00? Nothing posted outside either. This is the second time this has happened, and the other times I had to ship items, they aren't very friendly...I guess you have to know them personally for that which is too bad. I, like more and more others on here who are frustrated with this business, will find others to support...

My one star is because these people are very unfriendly and seemed put off upon approaching the door you need to speak through to get help. I wasn't angry in the least bit just not thrilled with the response and customer service.

No customer service at all. Messed up my order and than charged me to fixed it after saying she wouldn’t charge me for the mistake. Next time I’ll drive the distance to go somewhere else.

im very disappointed with the service i was provided . if you can even call it service! . i went into ship a package and to first get the price . i was told usps would be cheapier and i asked if they could at least give me a price it was a small box. i felt as if i was bothering them ? so she stopped what she was doing to give me a price .she went on the computer typed for a few seconds and said $25.00 with no other options given . i commented you didnt even weigh it or measure it she responded i guested it . i said ok and walked out .wowwww . i will never give them business again . she didnt give me a attitude but just seemed like i was a burden by trying to send a package at a shipping store . i also seen that they sell maple syrup and i thought perfect i needed at least 4 quarts for xmas gifts but didnt even get to that . i guess im not the only one they have treated poorly . so i consider myself lucky ! im a manger at a local retailer and deal with many people daily. i would never recommend this business or even give them a good review just the total opposite. very bad practices and ethics to follow in a small town . again to see the other bad reviews i take it they must not really care and either do i about giving them any further business. ive shipped things before with them.they didnt mind when i shipped a 120$ package about 6 months ago . ive used them in the past to try and help and keep it with small business and for the owner to assume i wouldnt of shipped a package because of my attitude is outrageous. my attitude came from the fact that she seemed like i was a bother to ask for a price instead of just sending me off . i had a attitude because i asked well you didnt weigh it or measure it . so yes at the end of my visit i wasnt happy who would of been ? . these guys have a nice way of trying to keep customers with there responses they give on here and make excuse !! oh covid oh i was alone oh it was busy .then your in the wrong biz it sounds like. im not the only one who has had issues with you guys . btw it ended up costing $12.00 to ship that package at a different ups location not the $25.00 you professionally guessed from a distance without weighing or measuring it.
