I had a great experience with a staff member at this shaws, I believe his name was Mason. He went above and beyond helping to locate and fulfill my order for a veggie platter and a pretzel sandwich platter in time for my daughter’s wedding.

Priced and sticked for out-of-staters. Employees are unpleasant, unmotivated, and don't really seem to be available to do their jobs most of the time. The sickening amount of pharmaceutical commercials since adding a pharmacy is disgusting. I will be making it a point to avoid shopping here.

First time visiting since the Grand opening. Store was fully stocked. Prices were somewhat reasonable. Isle's wide, easy to navigate and It's a refreshing treat to walk into a clean store!
Staff was polite if not helpful. One lady filling an outside order was particularly rude to another shopper. But the check out lady was fabulous.

FOR MY BLACK PEOPLE WHO LOVE TO TRAVEL BEWARE OF SHAWS IN LUDLOW. ZERO STARS IF I COULD. My family and I returned to VT for our annual vacation. Our last experience at Shaws was mediocre, but not horrible. This experience showed us that we are not welcomed. Shaws is the supermarket closest to us and we went to grab a few items we missed for a meal. One being a practical store bought margarita we fell in the love with the last time we were here. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to find it at home. We were cashed out by a young lady who looked no more than 19 years old with assistance from a manager who seems over 50. All four of us above the age of 26 years old were told that we were ALL required to present our ID to purchase ONE bottle of margarita. Unfortunately, 1 of 4 forgot her ID and we were declined the purchase because the cashier felt uncomfortable. During this time the manager didn't look at us. The last time we were here the policy was not based on the cashier's level of comfort. The person buying the alcohol presents their ID. We were so discouraged we didn't bother to stop at the wine and spirit to avoid further discrimination and disappointment. I hope that we never forget an item for our meal our crave something we can only find in Ludlow. Clearly melanated people are not treated fairly at Shaws.

Closed for renovation but said it was open online. Only grocery store in the area so a large inconvenience.
