While coming in after a 4 hour drive, I pulled in at 5:01 PM to be told they are closed. I explained I'm on empty and the employee explained they are closed, and then he said they only had super unleaded in stock. I told him again it wouldn't matter I was on empty. He only responded that he could not help and he's closed. It was horrible and ridiculous that a gas station closes at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon. There was no compassion or empathy and he was clearly just trying to leave and ignore me.

Clark's was a great local market with an outstanding selection and a customer centric culture, Yes, it was a bit expensive but with the exception of their sub-par meats, it was well worth it.Now comes the new owners, everything has changed, even though they say they use the same purveyor, the excellent produce department is now ordinary at best. Meats remain mediocre at best and too expensive, many of my favorite items are gone or have undergone significant price hikes.All in all. I find it better to make the slightly longer drive to Manchester.

This grocery store is a little pricey than the average grocery store, but it is around a tourist area and really the best option than going into Manchester with very dated stores and limited selections or Ludlow, which really is not much better. The town is small but this store has decent selection of goods and very clean compared to others in the area.
