I first stayed at MML in the 80’s during a high school ski trip. At that time, the barn had undergone one renovation. A kitchen had been installed, a wood floor laid out, and 8 seat round tables deployed. Now, two renovations later, it’s not recognize able from the inside. Super nice; beautiful fireplace. Chef made a custom breakfast for each of us.The rooms have been upgraded as well. I really appreciate the heated floor in the bathroom. My boots and gloves dried out over night.Mountain Meadows Lodge is very convenient to Killington and the bars, although it is off the beaten path. Moguls is the hot spot for music; so is The Pickle Barrel.

Outstanding property waiting to be turned into a 5 star resort. Best views in Vermont. Nice facility with great indoor/outdoor spaces.Problems: probably hard to get help, part timers, trying hard . Not a B&B..Hampton Inns have better breakfast. Cold scrambled eggs every day, sometimes with cold fench toast or cold pancakes. Dinner only 3 days a week and mediocre food, ridiculous prices... $28 dollar hamburger???Middle of the day cleaning floors with Pine Sol.. whole place smelled like an outhouse.. what hotel cleans with Pine Sol these days??My suggestion, go here for a beautiful property, go 5 minutes away to eat and hang in Killington.

It was our first time at this hotel. It was amazing!!! The room was so clean and the pillows were amazing ( that was my husband’s favorite part of the trip). The staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Plus it is on The Appalachian Trail. Pretty cool?

Lovely location, delicious cooked breakfast (included), friendly couple of staff members who were on duty. But the place was seriously understaffed: dirty breakfast dishes not cleared away till following day when prompted by guests. Plugged drain in bathroom sink/room was cold and damp on checkin because AC going full on and it was raining outside; uncomfortable twin beds in one of the rooms we booked; in-house restaurant closed on the Monday and Tuesday we were there. No effort made to get fireplace or space heaters on terrace going despite the weather. Disappointed, but I would go back if improvements made.

Mountain meadow is in a fantastic location and well appointed. I has the potential to be exceptional. The rooms are small but comfortable. The pillows are overstuffed and too firm for our liking. When we shared that with hotel staff, they shared that many guests had similar feedback but management had not made alternate pillows available so nothing they could do.Food service was inconsistent. Sometime a served breakfast, sometimes buffet, sometimes real plates, sometimes paper plates. Bar is open sometimes but other times even during published hours you need to go hunting to find someone who can serve you. The people are all very nice and doing their best but it’s clear that no one with hospitality experience is managing the team. They advertise house made artisan cocktails… the bar staff asked whether we wanted beer, wine or liquor…Overall it is a beautiful property and we had a nice time- but it’s not what is hyped on their internet site.

Mountain Meadows Lodge is extremely picturesque and quaint. My sister and I visited for a girls weekend and had the best stay. Recently renovated, and surrounded by the best of what killington has to offer, there was several activities in the area for us to partake in. The staff member Asia impressed us by her charm and kindness. We were touched by how she treated us like family.Definitely a must stay if you plan on being in the Killington area!

Waited over 40 minutes for a drink from the bar because the bartender had to walk her daughter and dog around the property. NEVER AGAIN!

Stayed 3 nights in June 2023.Very disappointed at the numerous maintenance issues from non-draining shower flooding bathroom floor to rocking/unseated toilet to towel hooks falling off the wall and wall sconces flopping sideways; dirty breakfast buffet area: dirty table, floors, silverware, cobwebs from ceiling to table in corner, dirty glasses on bar from day(s) prior and nowhere to put used dishes; poor management evident in inoperable fireplace because they're out of propane and no routine safety elements such as handbar in shower nor shower mat and slippery tile. Staff was pleasant but had no answers to questions about the facility. TV service offered no "normal" channels for news or sports so we had to find local sports pub to watch sporting events during playoffs. We'd looked forward to staying there for months and couldn't wait to leave. :(

Awesome hotel, very cute and the location by the lake makes it special. They have S’mores fixing and they light up the fire in the evening. The pillows were a bit too stuffed for me, I should have asked the front desk for smaller ones - I later learned that they had some. The breakfast is amazing: eggs, pancakes or french toast, bacon, potatoes, yogurt, fruits, baked goods.. etc. There is no decaf coffee. There is a fun game room. They also serve dinner and have a bar (we didn’t eat dinner there).

Such a lovely place! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location near Killington ski area and Pico resort. It was our first time visiting Vermont and won’t be our last. We enjoyed our stay and we missed Daisy, the dog (AKA the facility manager) Daisy was the highlight of our stay.

Our families stayed here for our daughter's wedding weekend in nearby Pittsfield. To say it was a gem is an understatement - MML could not have been better! The staff, especially Nicole and Connie, were beyond helpful in every way, making sure we felt at home and going the extra mile. From arrivals to the patio and bonfire and delicious breakfast and help whenever we needed it. The stars and the lake and the trails were an added bonus. We all hope to return.

This is our new favorite place to stay at when we want to escape the real world. Honestly don't know how anyone could give anything but a 5 star review. I stay at alot of hotels because of my job and I've never had such an amazing experience! Daisy does truely welcome you and make you feel at home "the pup". The staff was also amazing and friendly, Enjoyed our chats! Safe to say we will never stay anywhere else when we wanna take off for a couple days! Love the attention to detail on the remodel of an old farmstead! Can't wait to explore outside in the warmer weather

This review is for the Kent Bistro only. My husband and I have eaten all over Killington through the years and this was (by far) the best meal we have had in the area. We stopped in over the summer, but their kitchen was not open to the public yet. They are now though, and we are SO glad that they are. We had the opportunity to meet their new Food and Beverage Director, Mark Malo, who shared that he just came over to Mountain Meadows from Sugar Hill Inn in NH. (Google Sugar Hill Inn if you are looking for more proof of how good his food is.)We started with the French onion soup and burrata appetizers (which were delicious), followed by the salmon (cooked perfectly) and homemade butternut squash ravioli (the standout dish this meal), and finished with the mixed berry crumble with ice cream. Honestly, everything was fantastic, the portions were more than generous, and we can't wait to come back to work our way through the rest of the menu. The lodge itself is warm and welcoming, with comfy lounge areas and a fire pit outside where you can make your own s'mores. If we didn't have a place in town we would 100% stay at Mountain Meadows Lodge for our trips to Killington. We look forward to coming back very soon!

We loved our stay at Mountain Meadows Lodge! It was our first time in Vermont and we are looking forward to being back. Daisy was an incredible hostess! We stayed in the Thundering Brook room and it was really comfortable, especially the bed. Breakfast was great too and the lounge area was relaxing to hang out in. Highly recommend!

A fantastic place to stay! Staff were wonderful and the food was incredible (included breakfast features choice of blueberry pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, or home fries, cooked fresh for each guest). Rooms are cozy but very comfortable. Grounds include a nice size lake for boating (kayak, canoe, or paddle boat). We'll definitely be back!
