Dozer my other boy they've helped some w/ his SEVERE anxiety, I really wish they could/would help more so I could do more w/ my Therapy boy Jake before like I did before I got Dozer as puppy..aswell as do things w/ Dozer. People tell me get rid of Dozer if he's that bad...well would you just get rid of your child if it were the same situation; my pups love me unconditionally & vise versa! I'd never give up on them like they dont give up on me!!???Jake loves his car rides w/ mom, taking walks; if I could do it w/ both them together I would in heartbeat! I have walk them individually bc they're both large dogs, taking walks w/ both together is too difficult; car rides for Dozer is traumatic for him so I take him in the car as little as possible. They've helped w/ my cat who was diagnosed recently w/ Diabetes. The only downfall I find w/ them is their charges are extremely higher then other vets in the area; it makes it difficult for someone on a set monthly S.S. income!”
“Charlie had a sudden injury and we were able to get in that day. Dr. J. did a very thorough exam and diagnosed a soft muscle injury. After rest and meds he is back running and playing. Our pets always get such great care. Highly recommend!”
“The best Holistic Veterinary in the area. Very professional and compassionate staff. I wish I could have had the chance to bring my kitties earlier than now , when one of them was really sick, as I’m sure he would have saved him. If your animals aren’t saved here, it means that they had no chance, as they make any possible effort to save mine and those of my husband and we have many. If I become rich, I’ll be a donor to help them keep on research and equipment to save other animals.”
“We've been with River Cove now for over 39 years! Many beloved dogs through thick and thin including cancer, vestibular and other less critical issues. We were there back when Dr Ellis was the sole Doctor (and original owner) at this hospital, ...in its infancy. We've stayed with them all through their growth, while adding staff and new Doctors and new protocols and changes through new owners. We're still there! The staff is very accommodating, supportive and prompt to reply when we have issues and questions! They have text capability on their primary phone number! Nice, no missed voice messages and need to call back! We've seen new staff and new doctors there in an ever-changing animal hospital, yet, whoever is at the counter or replying via text, ...the support for pet and client has never diminished at all. It is always A+. Like many businesses now, they have policies that I am fine with in these ever changing times and do be aware that pet care now is very expensive, no matter where you go for quality care. Be prepared for that. Always good vibes at River Cove.........if they can take you on as a client, I highly suggest you bring your pet to them. they will not let you down. Doctors, Joel E. and Amanda L., Thank you!!! You are THE very best!”
“The Long Trail Veterinary Center staff have been very helpful for my dog Buddy and myself. I appreciate the thoroughness and attention to detail that Dr. Minkins's care provides for Buddy.”
“I don’t have enough positive things to say. And I was there for a freaking euthanasia. I went with my daughter to put her cat down. So much compassion, empathy, warmth, and patience from everyone. I couldn’t believe the care and effort taken to make sure my daughter and her cat were as comfortable as could be in a really bad situation. If I didn’t live in New York, I would switch to Orchard Veterinary Hospital in a heart beat. Beyond thankful.”
“Hands down the best vet we have been to having lived in small Midwest towns to New York City. Dr Mark Murphy was extremely patient and caring taking tons of time to be sure we understood everything he was concerned about. He and Ingrid were extremely sweet and careful about making sure our dog was not nervous or agitated. By far the least nervous I have ever seen my dog at the vet getting blood drawn and shots. Also didn’t try to sell me extra medicines, supplements, or foods that we didn’t need.”

5070 Shelburne Rd # 5, Shelburne“Lifechanging. They did us a favor before we even stepped in the door: after moving to VT I had called to get my dog Kenta started as a new patient. He's reactive at the vet so we made a plan, but before our first visit I got a cancer diagnosis myself. Life turned upside down and since Kenta was fine we forgot about it until I was out of the woods. I called them about a year later and while they weren't taking new patients at that point they agreed to still see us, considering the circumstances, which was so kind. It's just gotten better from there. They are very accommodating to reactive dogs, working with you to find the best solution to keep your pet calm and comfortable. No sedatives or blanket has been required! The energy of everyone there is perfect -- calm and unfazed -- which has helped Kenta progress quickly. He's now taking treats directly from the vet and getting pets! Unheard of before. We're also seeing the same vet every time for consistency which has helped. Cannot recommend them enough, especially for anxious/reactive dogs.”
“I have always been happy with the care and service my pets have received at RAH. I have been taking my pets there since 2001, and continued when I moved to a neighboring town. The staff are very caring, helpful, and knowledgeable. Pricing is also reasonable.”

60 Commerce St, Williston“Great care, friendly people, respectful environment.Really happy with this vet, except for one small complaint. We made an appointment for a car neutering. My wife paid 50% at the time of making the appointment.$150 to make it, $300 total."is that exactly half of what the bill will be, including tax and all other costs?""Tax will add a few bucks but yes."Go in for the appointment, get handed a bill for $223."um, I paid half""yeah but there's these fees..." goes on to explain.I wasn't pleased, but had a drugged kitty and wanted to discuss it with my wife first before assuming my memory was correct.A simple misunderstanding I'm quite sure, but you did tell us it was exactly half, we budgeted for that number, and it is $78 higher. In this economy?Again, GREAT VET. Bring your cat here, but leave a financial buffer even when you are told a firm number. That's life though, great cat spot. Highly recommend,”

“We love coming here with our 5 cats. We've had a couple major events and the staff has always been patient, thoughtful, and very helpful, even if the call or visit is about another one of our cats they're always willing to offer advice or suggestions.”

1417 Marshall Ave, Williston“We ended up at BEVS when my elderly cat very suddenly lost his vision. Yes, we waited a long time and it cost much more than a regular vet, but that's the nature of an emergency service. Everyone from reception to the doctor was kind and caring, and after a week of medication, my cat regained his vision. You are truly miracle workers, and I am so grateful for what you do.”
“My husband and I are beyond thrilled with our experience with the care we received for our cat Patrick. We moved to NNY 2.5 years ago with our 8 cats. Patrick was a special case who needed specialized surgery. Thankfully, our new vet in Canton, NY referred us to BEVS. It's been 6 months and Patrick has recovered very well and is a NEW cat (actually he's now a 6 year old kitten!) If it wasn't for Dr. Helmick's amazing expertise and his wonderful team Patrick would never have gotten to this point where he can enjoy life so thoroughly. We stand amazed and will be ever grateful. Thank you BEVS!”
“Everyone here is always kind, professional and trustworthy. We are extra thankful for Dr. Palac and the staff for their dedication to help our dog that was very sick and is now thriving with the right food and medication. We have used this practice for surgeries, advice and yearly checkups and appreciate the care and attention to detail you provide! Thank you Animal Hospital of Hinesburg from Spike and Ru”
