“So much good bulk stuff- part of which is refrigerated, which impressed me! They’ve got good beverage selection, pre-prepared foods, local stuff- they very obviously care a lot about what they’re stocking and selling, which I appreciate.”
“The staff/ owner was great and helpful. Bought chili bamboo in soy bean oil. They also have buldak noodles. The place has a lot of little thing you can usually find elswhere”
“"If we don't have it, you don't need it" -is right! Everything from diapers to Postcards and more.
There is just so much in all the never ending rooms! Unfortunately prices are about $2+ more than other stores, so you pay for convenience, but they also have unique/hard to find items as well. It's just a quirky wonderland!
I bought rubber key identification holders for 40 cents! (They also make keys!) I also got a sack of soil and limited edition beer all in the same trip. I was amazed!
If it's busy parking will be a challenge as they don't have much in front.”
“Super cute little store hometown field lots of unique items that you don't find in your normal chain grocery store If I live closer I would definitely shop here”
“Wonderful farm. A must do for a CSA share! A ton of fresh veggies come with their service which is really fun to design weekly meals off vegetables I may otherwise not buy out right. CSA from here has improved variety and quality of homemade meals. The pick you own is wonderful. Basically fresh herbs weekly, as many cherry red tomatoes as you can eat and my most favorite time of year--fresh edamame! An attached market for other local selections of bread and local meats.”
“Absolutely phenomenal spot, my favorite place to eat in the Upper Valley. The wait staff is super friendly and hospitable, the food is delicious, and the attached market is a fun place to explore and find things you won't find elsewhere. The all-you-can-eat hot pot is definitely the way to go. It's a great price for all you get with it, i.e. unlimited appetizers, meat, seafood, veggies, starch, AND dessert. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.”

“First time here. We stopped on our way through- got a delicious sandwich for a reasonable price, staff was super friendly and helpful, and the bathroom was clean. Can't beat that!”
“Recently had to have a prescription filled within a certain time frame and I also needed to change pharmacy's since my insurance was no longer going to cover this medication. Hannaford's staff was so friendly and realized the urgency of time limit we were in and went about and beyond to help out. I am not planning on switching all of our pharmacy needs to them. They cared! It was great service.”
“2/17/24 visit: we bought delicious, fresh sushi and we had it for lunch in a nice, clean part of the store set-up for eating. They have an indoor and outdoor eating area, no frills but much appreciated! The cheese selection is spectacular! We bought some basics because the prices are so good. We bought local Robie farms sausage which was delicious. They had an amazing selection of high end Asian products, some of the nicest fish sauce I have ever seen .. great store!Excellent selection of everything; produce is huge with beautiful fruits and vegetables!Sushi!!!! So fresh and it looked amazing!Beautiful meats and a large local selection.Local honey; a shelf of local raw honey choices! And everything else that you would expect, gluten free breads and pizzas in the freezer, a whole row of pre-made foods and deserts which is really nice ...Excellent choices for Asian ingredients which I was excited to get my favorite Nishiki rice! All this and a bag of chips ... a little film industry humor, actually, the prices are excellent!Clean store.friendly staff!Free paper bags!!!”
“Grocery store that has a bit of everything most stores have. Went in grabbed what I was looking for, checked out and left. Parking wasn't crowded and plenty of Handicap parking is available.”
“I called in a meat order for three pounds of stewing beef at white river meat department and asked that it be cut less than one inch. When I open this morning, it was perfect. I think Derek in white river took the added time to do this. It was wonderful just to put into crock pot without any cutting on my part. Thanks for making my day. Happy holidays. Donna Wheeler”
“Price chopper is a great store. The sales are incredible. The store is always clean and tidy. I favor the meat department in PC over of all the local grocery stores. Additionally, the staff is friendly and they always have someone on hand to help bag your purchases. I only gave it a 4 because sometimes the produce department is lean.”
“A welcoming and very well run business.
We bought two bars of chocolate and something to drink in this scorching temperature while we were on a motorbike on June 18, 2024 in the middle of the afternoon. We were able to chat in French with a friendly lady at our checkout who was from Sherbrooke. Nothing cheap like everywhere else and that's how it is even if it's inconceivable. Chocolate bars at $2.99 each. I bought myself milk and a large 2 liter bottle of Polar lemon and my wife, a bottle of water for $1.99. We offer you two photos including that of the cash receipt with the detailed description of our purchases totaling $11.70.

“In 2018 I have this place a less than stellar review. During Covid they were my favorite grocery store and they continue to be. I'm only giving 4 stars because the prices can be high. I highly suggest getting the Shaws App (part of Albertson's) because you can easily clip coupons and accumulate reward points towards gas or future purchases and somehow, after clipping the online coupons, they manage to discount my total more! I often am able to save about 15-50% each purchase on the app. There's probably something about why but I haven't bothered looking into it as long as I'm saving! Especially in this economy!”
“Generally enjoy this store and BJs. It is smaller, so selection is a little limited and deals are average to slightly above average with the exception of gas which is always the lowest price that i can find. The store is always clean.
Today, Sunday 9/7 was an off day and experienced rude aisle stockers. One interrupted me comparing items and put himself between myself and the items. And proceeded to cut boxes and stock. I waited for probably a minute and then left the area. Rudest experience ive ever had at a store with the name tag of Ross.
Later that same visit, Ross and another stocker that drove a forklift were cutting through the busiest part of the store (lines at checkout) honking and not giving people any direction. All the customers were awkwardly looking around and giving strange looks to each other due to the weird behavior.”
“A Sherry at the Burleson Texas Wakmart- sat me d9wn in the self check out. Noticed I was having a medical issue, ran in all my items, called and walked me out to an Uber to make sure I was safe and asked the Uber driver to please walk me into my building. She was amazing. She will bring me back to a store I kinda gave up on. Great customer service”
“Jake’s has a great selection of local beer, Vermont products, and a very good sandwich bar. The groceries are overpriced but convenient. It’s a beautiful store and a good place to go if you’re not on a budget. If you want to get the best groceries at a reasonable price, I recommend Market Basket in Claremont, New Hampshire or in Warner New Hampshire.”
