So fortunate to have a quality hardwood lumber supplier in the area. A busy location with great service and a wide variety of materials available. Rough-sawn and surfaced hardwoods available here, along with a lot of different sheet goods.

Baker Lumber is our go-to place when we need plywood or boards for small projects around the house. I'm not the world's expert on wood, but they clearly have better selection and higher quality than Home Depot, La Valley, or Foggs. As their name suggests, lumber is what they sell, mainly, and they have a huge amount of it. But inside the little shop, they also have a nice selection of finishing products, wood flooring and wood trim. The staff there are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and we've never had to wait long for help. We've been shopping there for a couple years now, and everything we've purchased (eg baltic birch for kitchen cabinet shelves) has held up fine. We have several little house projects in the pipeline (shelves etc), so hopefully I'll be able to add some more detail to this review soon.
