A great selection of some finished, but primarily unfinished solid wood furniture at prices similar to Ikea or the beat-up stuff sold at the local thrift. You can go right with this place if you desire quick, real wood storage solutions. The guy in the store, whose name I sadly cannot recall, was great to work with and helpful in placing our order and loading the furniture into our rented van. I will gladly do business with Allard's again.

The gentleman that owns the store is very genuine and helpful. Very fairly priced unfinished solid wood furniture of all types. This place is a gem in the upper valley. I highly recommend this place to all that are looking for affordable solid wood furniture.

Diverse collection of unfinished furniture with new pieces each time I've visited. Easy to envision many of the items in any space. Many solid pine pieces. Staff willing to work with customer to help meet needs. Unfortunately both items I was seeking were no longer available from the furniture makers when I visited, though they were previously popular or available. Hope the items come back or new/additional venders are identified.

Not a fancy place by any means, but Allard's has a very nice selection of high quality unfinished furniture. They also have catalogs from the source manufactures they buy from, so you can browse and order items that they do not have in stock. Limited delivery options.

I have had two great experiences with Mark at this store. He was extremely helpful the first time, gave me a great price on a very well made unfinished bookcase, and cheerfully carried it out to my car. When I needed another matching one, 6 weeks later, he went out of his way to get what I needed, very quickly, again gave me a good deal, and he could not have been nicer. I hope folks will shop locally and support this gem of a store! I sure will and will look forward to working with Mark again.

Interesting place. After browsing all the stores in the area and checking the construction versus price, I checked this place out. At first I was a little surprised that the prices weren't a whole lot less than a lot of the finished stuff at the other places I checked out. I mentioned my disappointment to the guy working there, and he responded by showing me a couple pieces he had finished. He then humorously challenged me to recollect any thing that I had seen at the other places by saying "Now how does it compare"? I have to say that if I hadn't first seen it in its unfinished state, I definitely would have found it to be the better quality and value then most of the other stuff I had seen in the area. They also have a no particleboard allowed policy which helps dodge those concerns of what lies beneath that you have with finished furniture.

The furniture here is of excellent quality and you can get custom pieces made. The prices are high compared to the particleboard stuff available at most locations, but this furniture is real wood and all the moving pieces are excellent. Not a huge selection here or much staff and it's not too busy but the quality is excellent and will meet or exceed most peoples expectations. The wormy maple stuff is very beautiful.

Off the intersection of I-91 and I-89, you can drive by and never know it is there, and that's too bad if you are looking for quality furniture you can finish to suit your own tastes. My wife and I bought a hardwood desk that is absolutely perfect for our house, and the price Mark sold it to us for was just as perfect for my wallet. Take the extra effort and stop by. You'll be pleased with what you see!
