My very last experience and i mean last the pharmacist pulled me aside by the waiting area in full hearing of others and not once but twice used the words controlled substance. No one could know it was not an opiod. I feel i was put in a position where my personal safety was compromised, as I walk to and from this pharmacy, NEVER Again

consistently do not have my prescription ready when they say they do, claim it wasn’t called in when my doctor called it in, and i’ve been on the phone for an hour trying to speak to a provider and after dodging the automated machine it just goes silent until it hangs up. genuinely this place has never been helpful when it comes to picking medication up.

The answering system lies. Says they will be with you shortly. I waited 20 minutes and then hung up! I was trying to find out if my prescription was ready. Something I Needed on Friday! Today is Monday. I had the script sent to the Barre Walgreens since Hardwick Pharmacy is closed on the weekend. Found out Barre was closed this past weekend! And I found out Barre location did not have any of the med to fill my prescription. Have had Numerous times I could Not get this Very Important Prescription filled in Hardwick! I know this is happening to other people also - it's Lousy! A pharmacy is a type of business that Should be open EVERY day - like Hospitals are!

The staff is helpful and polite, but the pharmacy hours are not very dependable.

Hardwick is a small town that needs a great pharmacy. Walgreens has failed us! They took over Rite Aid and we have had terrible service since! Empty shelves , closed pharmacy and employees that aren’t helpful.

The worst pharmacy experiences I've ever had. Nothing is ever ready on time. I've waited as long as 45min to pick up a prescription to find out it's not ready! No one calls if tgere is an issue. I've had a career in pharmacy and am appalled most of the time. It's closed on the weekends and sometimes during the week!

Terrible at estimating what time prescriptions will be ready. Misuse if the auto dialer system (calls and tells you it's ready when it's not) and they are constantly closed with little to no notice. This is the only pharmacy around. People who can't drive have no choice but to go here. Seniors and elderly have to go without their prescriptions because this place can't stay open. Walgreens should close this location. They're a liability and cause more harm than good.

Prescriptions often delayed and have been repeatedly told false updates by the alerts system and over the phone by staff. Have had a prescription delayed for nearly two weeks because the pharmacy was out, was told by the alerts system there was "no action needed, more on the way". Tried calling a few times to find the phone system isn't working. Finally got through and it turns out they never ordered my prescription. They order it and I call the day it's supposed to be ready and a pharmacist tells me they're "filling it now, it will be ready in an hour". I arrive after an hour and it turns out the delivery never arrived in the first place! Had to wait 3 hours for the delivery to arrive when I could have just came out to the pharmacy later had the woman just given accurate information about the status of the delivery. Not the first time having a negative experience but the worst so far.

The staff assisted in getting a prescription filled early due to out of state travel. This consisted of calling the dr (multiple times) as well as my insurance company. What I appreciated most- they called and kept me updated on the status.

The pharmacists and staff at this pharmacy like to play doctor. If you're doc calls a prescription in for you sooner than the staff at this location feel you should have it, they will do everything in their power to keep it from you. I was told on a Friday that a prescription would be ready in an hour, only to get there an hour and a half later and have them say that they couldn't fill it until Sunday unless they spoke to the prescribing doctor first...The doctor who called the script in, to be filled on that day...What more permission do you need? THEN, Sunday rolls around, and I go to pick it up, only to be told that their monitoring system for the State is down...So the prescription was filled, but they couldn't give it to me until they could get into the system...Which the associate couldn't help but smile while she told me this! Every time I go to this pharmacy I expect to have a problem, ESPECIALLY if it's for a controlled substance! They love to play doctor with those! I have also gotten home and had my prescription be short a few pills, and I have heard this from many others as well. There was also an occasion where they ripped up a prescription on me, and told me that they had spoke to my doctor and were told to do so. I called my doctor to find out why, and was told that the pharmacy had never called, and that they were definitely never told to "destroy" the script. This incident occurred several years ago, but is just one more example of the kind of people they employ at this location. I highly recommend Morrisville's Walgreens if you don't mind driving the extra 15 minutes, I guarantee you'll still have your prescription and be back home sooner than if you go to Hardwick's pharmacy! The entire staff, and especially Paul and Katie at the Morrisville location are very helpful and friendly, and are incredibly fast! They go out of their way to help their customers. Hardwick's pharmacy should take some pointers from them.

I have had multiple negative experiences with the pharmacists and the pharmacy associates, working at this location. My prescription is never "supposedly" on file. I'm made to call my doctor's office, call back, and drive back out to the store to find that Walgreens made an error (yet again). They treat customers as if they are doing them a favor by getting their medication for them vs providing a service they are trained and paid for. I rarely, find a business so infuriating, that I leave a negative review. But this location is unprofessional and rude. It is my hope that this reaches someone at Walgreens, that might care enough to make a change in this particular location.

The positive is that the staff at both the store and the pharmacy are friendly and helpful. The negative is that when it was Rite Aid, just a few months ago, when I called the pharmacy someone would immediately pick up the phone. At times they asked if I could hold for a few minutes and I was fine with that. But every single time I have called the pharmacy I am put on hold, sometimes for almost a half hour.I cannot believe that there are so many people calling that they cannot answer a call for almost a half hour.If the staff is busy then pick up and ask if we could hold, I understand that sometimes they are right in the middle of something. But to have people sit on the phone for anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes is just ridiculous.I have actually stayed on the line while I drove to the pharmacy, went up to the counter to ask do my business, and left the store while I was still on hold on the phone.
