Highland Lodge is a charming and fabulous place with a warm and cozy vibe and beautiful views of its wonderful northeast kingdom Caspian Lake setting. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The staff is friendly, attentive, and feels like friends. The food is exceptional, fantastic, delicious, and creative. Guests enjoy excellent meals with dishes like roasted beets, an amazing beet salad, a wonderful kale Caesar salad, steak frites, Steak Diane, seared chicken breast, beef, and duck. Desserts, like the classic Ishkabibble brownie, do not disappoint. The drink selection is impressive with very creative cocktails and delicious flavor mixtures. It offers very comfortable lodging, including thoughtfully made ADA accommodations. While there is no AC or TV in the rooms, the front porch overlooking the lake provides a perfect spot. It is a place where visitors are never disappointed and can't wait to visit again.

Excellent meal! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had beef, duck, and an amazing beet salad. I've tried to upload photos following the acceptable terms and three times have not been able to submit. So I will forego the photos, but it was a really good meal.
