Ever since the merger online banking has sucked. Transactions take 3 days to post. A pin purchase should be immediate. When you look at your account you have money then bam everything hits leading to multiple overdrafts. This really needs to be fixed. I have never had so many issues before. NEFCU has really gone downhill. Now I see why my friends are pulling their accounts.

They've gone downhill since they merged with another credit union. My card gets declined when I have money in my account. I work hard for my money and shouldn't have to worry every time i go to cash out. I'm moving to another bank.

We walked in and the guy calls out, over other customers, take your hat off! What? It's winter! The teller, absolutely amazing and professional. We leave and the same guy is now dealing with 2 new customers! Bothe wearing hats! How unprofessional on HIS part.

Very unprofessional and do not believe in member loyalty at all. Surprisingly TD has better rates but ultimately we are fortunate to be banking with Navy Federal as well. Navy Federals customer service is top notch and rates are lower. We only pay 600 which is refunded at closing and they cover the closing costs. NEFCU seems to base decisions personally and discriminately and don't communicate with their members. Kaitlynn P was very uninformative and honestly doesn't seem to know what's she's doing. At the end of the day this bank made a personal decision that will lead to the loss of several members. AA credit with hurdles like this only points to those at top mismanaging members money.

Bad bank, bad service, there is no 24/7 h service, when I call hot line number the auto repair say our office is off please call us tomorrow.

Worst bank ever. The idiot at the front desk refused to provide the name/number of a supervisor or even the department name that handles account issues I was having. Instead he would go in an office then come out 20 min later talking about something that had nothing to do with what I was there for. They took advantage of my elderly parents and now they don't want to be helpful at all. Stay away, don't open any new accounts with this horrible place

Thomas Moore at the Essex Junction location is fantastic! I had questions pertaining to shared branching, as I am a member of 2 credit unions and was trying to get funds out from the "other" credit union. I had called the nefcu customer service who told me the incorrect info and Thomas was able to review and solve the root cause issue, and creatively come up with a solution for me. I highly recommend him.

Terrible customer service. Won't take ownership of a mistake a teller made. I'll be closing my accounts asap.*UPDATE* Just had to do some banking at the Essex branch, there is a younger male teller with light brown hair, beard and glasses, he managed to mess up the 2 transactions I had to perform. One of which was a loan payment that was a specific amount and he just rounded up.
