“The Blind Tiger is a very unique, charming, and historic boutique hotel experience with a stunning solarium. Service and accommodations are well though out and executed from from check in to check out. I had the pleasure of being hosted in the forever tomgirl suite curated with love and light by Gabrielle Krammer, Founder of local plant based gem, Tomgirl Kitchen. I especially enjoyed being able to request service via text message. The furnishings, architecture and grounds are impeccably kept and absolutely breathtaking. I looked at every inn and hotel in the area, but after seeing the amenities this one has to offer I knew it would be the best spot to lodge during our families Champlain graduation festivities. There's a 24/7 self-serve complimentary tea, coffee and snack bar in the common area. Coffee and continental breakfast is served each morning. You'll have access to parking, indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as indoor and outdoor games and recreation. Although you'll be provided with the wifi password this place invites you to unplug, unwind, pick up a book, play a board game or toss a bean bag. The only screen you'll find here is the tablet the on site property manager uses to check you in and out if you forgo the online option. If you can't go long without technology I recommend packing a laptop or tablet. Many compliments to the manager, the grounds keeper and cleaning crew. This is by far the cleanest place I've ever booked!”

179 Porters Point Rd, Colchester“I can't say enough good about this place! We got in late, called the number on the office door, and was directed to my room with check in instructions by the friendliest man! The outside was cute and very well kept. The room was great and clean. Loved the push button housekeeping service. We enjoyed 3 nice, quiet evenings. We did not take advantage of the drive in movies but what a great amenity! If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely check here first! Thanks to the staff for everything.”

71 Rathe Rd, Colchester“This is an above-average Residence Inn. It has large comfortable rooms and a generous breakfast. It’s convenient to Burlington and Lake Champlain. My only quibble is, that for a senior, the room doors are very difficult to open. The staff could easily adjust the door closers to make them less stiff. How do I know? I’ve adjusted hundreds of them.”
“Went for a work day retreat. We used the cabins, had a camp fire and hiking on trails. Ended the day by the water. Little beach rocky, need water shoes. The Beach area is available if you are using the cabins(cabin). There are four cabins. Each cabin has a kitchen, bunk beds , bathroom with two bathroom stalls.Atmosphere very relaxing.”
“Quintessential, quaint, romantic New England resort with excellent amenities and an amazing in-house tavern and fine dining restaurant with a phenomenal menu. Perfect for a long weekend getaway.”
“Hotel Review: Delta Hotels by Marriott – Burlington, VT
--
As a travel blogger, hotel and restaurant reviewer, and secret shopper for esteemed global brands, I have had the privilege of visiting 68 countries, spanning 6 continents, and exploring 32 states. Throughout my travels, I have experienced a diverse range of accommodations, from large global branded hotels to intimate boutique establishments. It is important to offer comprehensive feedback, both positive and constructive, to the businesses I visit, which often includes publishing reviews across multiple platforms.

During my recent stay at Delta Hotels South Burlington, VT, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail provided by your team. Despite being situated in a smaller town in the Northeast, the hotel staff exceeded expectations in delivering a consistently exceptional guest experience. From the welcoming demeanor of the front desk attendants, whose names unfortunately escaped me (I checked in on 6/4 at 12 pm), to the professionalism displayed by various team members throughout the property, it was evident that customer satisfaction was a top priority.
--
The rooms were well-maintained and provided the true comfort you would expect from a Marriott-branded hotel. For some strange reason, I always find myself sleeping extraordinarily well in their beds. The room had all the necessary amenities for the comfort level that one would expect in a technology-driven world. The gym was also impressive, which included a full set of free weights, a 360 workout machine, and plenty of treadmills, bikes, and elliptical machines. Don’t forget your swimsuit for the indoor pool!

“Stayed overnight with our eBikes after riding the causeway trail. Very nice valet parking staff, friendly and efficient front desk and restaurant staff. The room on the first level was convenient for our bikes, nicely equipped, clean and comfortable. Great location and block from Church Street attractions.
Rooms: Clean, comfortable and nicely equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Modern decor with comfortable king bed and large TV.
Nearby activities: Close to restaurants and bars. A short drive to Airport Park and bike trails.
Walkability: Easy walk to Church Street and to Harbor.”
“A nostalgic throwback to the hey days of classic New England summer road trips -affordable, clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast is continental but a suitable variety . About 10- 15 minutes to all things Burlington. If you are expecting the Marriott at motel prices, you will be disappointed (and shouldn't complain because you are the problem ) but if you want a decent place to crash for a night or two, then this is the place!”
