I just want to tell everyone how helpful one of the pharmacist was when I came in with a question. I didn’t understand what he was trying to explain to me about my prescriptions. Finally, after at least five tries, it clicked. Thanks so much for your patience.

I switched to the Essex Hannaford pharmacy after a series of customer service issues with my previous pharmacy, and I am so happy I chose this pharmacy team. They are always professional, courteous, and prompt.Today the entire team went above and beyond to assist me with an insurance situation for a last-minute refill for my kid before she leaves on a 16-day bike trip. The last-minute was totally our fault and still they could not have been more helpful. They reached out to the insurance company and worked closely with the great staff at Essex Pediatrics and achieved a same-day approval for the refill. They then reached out immediately to notify me that it was ready for pick up.In a time when most businesses are short-staffed and customer service is suffering, this pharmacy remains excellent. Kudos to the entire team.

I transferred to this pharmacy after using another large chain pharmacy nearby. The reason? friendly staff, faster service and it is very well organized. The other pharmacy is too busy and understaffed., Hannaford pharmacy employees are competent and so nice. It makes a huge difference. thank you

This is the Hannafords I have been going to for about 35 years now. I love the changes and have never had an issue until lately. It doesn't seem like the young baggers are trained how to bag. Even though I supply my own bags frozen food is mixed with non frozen. That's not what is prompting me to write however. The last time I was there it was very slow and there were 3 or 4 baggers helping at my register I guess because they had nothing to do. When I got home I realized that I didn't have one of my bags. They had not put it in my cart. I called Customer Sevice and they said my bag was there at the customer service desk. I asked if they could hold it for me and put my name on it and I would be in the next day to pick it up. When I went in the next day to pick it up they had put all my items back on the shelves! I find this inexcusable! Especially since they have a Hannafords To Go section where they store peoples items. Needless to say I have a sour taste in my mouth about their customer service!

Hannafords is the BEST! I love the new, remodelled store! They have responded to my requests to carry specific items, have really great customer service AND their prices are almost always less than competitors (with the exception of occasional sale items). Their meat department is also superb! So fortunate to have them close to my house!
