Nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone. I've left several messages over the years, with never a return call. I've had them pick up and hang up on me. While I write this review I've had 1) a pick up/hang up, b) an apparent transfer with no voice, and 3) now endless ringing. I've had to practically beg them for an appointment time vs having them call me with a no show for me to fill. Every experience with the whole department has been very un-Costco like.

Got transferred 4 times and left on ringer until it eventually hung up. Finally the 5th time, some gracious lady helped me on something that wasn't even her area to deal with.

I was very discouraged with today's service at the tire center. I got there and was 1st in line. There were two folks at the service counter. I waited about 10 minutes, one person finished, and I expected to be served next. An older gentleman walks in and up to the counter and says to the person behind the counter. "OK, it's all set now," she says "ok good," and proceeds to serve him in the process of buying two tires. This turns into a project. the register didn't work and had to switch. Couldn't find tires in stock, credit card didn't work twice. 15 minutes later, the other cashier says anyone with an appointment? Two people walk up. 10 more minutes I finally get actual service. I was passed, and fortunately, the women behind the counter was very pleasant and curious, I was done buying two sets of tires in 10 minutes.

The prices during sales really can't be beat but customer service is frankly atrocious. I don't expect the red carpet at a tire center, but this location is basically impossible to reach on the phone. This was puzzling until my wife showed up there to get assistance (since showing up without an appointment is the only way we've ever actually received service), and watched technicians laugh to themselves while they intentionally let the phone ring. Employees consistently seem bored or annoyed and are either unable or unwilling to answer basic questions about why one set of tires might be better over another. It's also the longest tire or wheel replacement you'll ever receive. I don't expect auto care centers to be fast, but four hours for four wheels is a bit ridiculous. I've resolved to just let myself get gouged locally so I don't have to subject myself to the torture of communicating with these people. Really disappointing.

With great displeasure I am forced to write this negative review about Costco Tire! On Thursday, July 27 at approximately 2 PM I had the misfortune of a flat tire in the handicapped parking section of Costco right by the tire center. I want everyone to know that I am handicapped suffering from severe knee injury. My first thoughts were to go into the tire center and ask for help fixing the flat. Which I did do several times. Upon entering Costco Tire I explained to a younger man in his 30s named Cody who works behind counter my situation. I explained that I am handicapped and cannot fix my tire easily. The answer back was completely shocking to me and unconscionable. I was given a hard no, and when I asked for any assistance it fell on deaf ears. It was actually pouring rain, and I was in a really bad spot. when I asked when the nearest available time was to fix a flat I was told three days away on Saturday. This did absolutely nothing to ameliorate the situation at hand. Adding injury to insult I had to call on friends to help drive me around to find a fix a flat tire kit and plugs and started working on the tire myself in the handicapped spot. After fixing the flat myself with the help of sympathetic customers and being asked repeatedly by passer bys why didn’t I just go to the tire center???, I then went over to Costco’s free air hose by the tire Center another young costco employee who worked in the Tire department asked me why I was not in the tire center getting it fixed? Puzzled by my response this young man walked away, shaking his head. When the free air didn’t work due to low pressure the only saving grace was another young gentleman who worked in the Tire department allowed me to fill my tire with their air pump and also checked for leaks in the plug that I had put in myself. He also asked why I was not being held by the tire center. I told him there is no timeslots. Fact -Costco fixes tires for $10.99 And guarantees their work. Fact- I had to come out of pocket approximately $30, waste over three hours of my time and ultimately be helped by other people in the Tire department that saw I was in complete duress. I deserve an explanation why this happened to me? Costco Tire’s customer service capabilities are abhorrent and an employee with zero compassion for anyone in a bad spot is unconscionable and bad for business period. I am writing this in hopes that Costco will reach out to me for further details on this matter. This piss poor level of customer service is inexcusable, unacceptable and disgraceful. Fact- I spent thousands and thousands of dollars a year at Costco. To be treated like this is unfathomable. Note: Costco managers or upper management ——Please feel free to reach out to me for a full explanation and details.— rewind your video, Gray Toyota 4 Runner, me Hunter Orange baseball cap. Verify my story. It matches.

What good is a road hazard warranty if you can’t get it fixed in a timely manner. I’ve been in there three times. The technicians have no customer service skills and always seem to be flustered by the volume of business. Maybe you could hire a manager to run the front end and allow the technicians to work on cars.

I used to do tire change over here since Costco opened tire center. Now to find out after all these years new Costco policy, if tires are not purchased with Costco, no more tire change over. I've always purchased used vehicles that come with second set of tires and I am truly sad I can't use Costco tire center anymore.

You cannot get ahold of anyone here. I’ve called and called and no one answers the phone. Went in to try and make an appointment and was very rudely spoken to and told they didn’t have appointments open for four weeks. That’s totally fine. Schedule me for the first opening. But nope. They won’t. Try to schedule online and you can’t because they are always booked for the next two months. Also found out that they won’t refund your installation fee if you come pick up the tires to take to any other place. AND that you have to pick up your tires after three weeks of them sitting there or they will be sent back. This place is so frustrating and ho early not worth the freakin time.

Did a great job on the tires, but no point in a warranty as if you do have issue with the tires you won't get an appointment for at least two months out.
