While in VT, we stopped in the store just to look at they had many interesting items. They had many handmade VT items and also some weird quirky souvenir items. Off on the area, give them a look you won't be disappointed.

We drove to Chester from Ludlow and discovered this amazing shop
It has an amazing array of items from jewelry to ceramics to clothing accessories to puzzles to candles etc
My friend and I entertained ourselves reading the “phrase” coasters. So much fun and reasonable prices. Great find!

Michele is an outstanding crafts-person. Her designs are eye catching and the quality of her work is evident in all that she has created.
I picked up a set of garnet and sterling earrings and necklace for my wife - as a surprise gift - and she absolutely loved them.
Michele is extremely personable and very talented.
You absolutely should visit her shop if you are in the area.
You will not be disappointed with the experience.

This is an amazing gem in Chester. It has beautifully crafted jewelry as well as beautiful mugs / plates / cups. It's a great place to visit and they have good prices! I highly recommend this place, I bought 3 pieces of jewelry when I stopped in!

This was my favorite shop for holiday gifts! Michelle has beautiful gift baskets with local, handmade pieces in them and great prices! She also offered to switch out pieces of the basket if needed. I will definitely be back!

First of all, they are open (!) and practicing the social distancing requirements of Vermont. You need a mask to enter the store. Otherwise, it is the same amazing array of handmade jewelry, soaps, Vermont-made stoneware, socks, awesome planters and one-of-a -kind gifts. I stop in every time I am in the area. Michele's earrings and necklaces are my personal favorites. They are so unique! Chester is a wonderful town to visit no matter what season.

I had a beautiful set Michele Colby Bargfrede at Sage for me, with some gems that I had. I gave her full creative control, since I have so much respect for her talent in jewelry making. Sage Jewelry & Gifts is a beautiful shop located in the center of Chester VT. The shop is lovely, warm and welcoming. The shop owner/jewelry artist, Michele, is friendly and extremely helpful. There is something here for anyone you need a gift for, including yourself!!! I highly recommend this store and all it has to offer. If you are looking for a handcrafted/local gift this is where you need to stop.

This is one hidden gem in the town center of Chester VT! The store is bright and cheerful, just like the owner/artist in residence. This store has amazing handcrafted and locally made gifts for the whole family, not just jewelry. I highly recommend!

I wanted to lift my spirits while isolated at home during Coronavirus. I browsed the website for Sage Jewelry and Gifts, and picked out a tree of life pendant necklace for myself. Shipping was quick, and the necklace is gorgeous. I wear it while working from home. I'll definitely be shopping at Sage Jewelry and Gifts next time I need a thoughtful, unique gift.
