The pies, oh my god the pies. Have been coming here since I was a little girl and lived around the corner on Lewis road. Gladys ricketts was our neighbor down the road and it appears works here still. As a little girl I was always intrigued by "Charlie Brown" I was a peanuts fan and was quite tickled to know the man down the road was named such. Pies here every year! ❤️

Great homemade…pretty much everything along with local pride confections, jellies and baked goods. We loved the VT culture and the incredibly friendly Labrador who came up to us saying, “welcome to Brown’s, can I help you find anything yummy? I recommend the biscuits and cookies, I’ll sample one for you…” bring your friends and family from out of town, guaranteed to leave with a smile.

Great atmosphere, great staff, and the experience was nice. Unfortunately, the pumpkin and apple crumble pies were not like what your grandmother would have made. The crust was dry and fell off the pan edge. The pumpkin filling was bland and the apple crumble had a raw material texture. Not worth the $20 pet pie price.

Great stop when traveling through Vermont. Wonderful fruit/veggies and treats! The maple products and homemade donuts were excellent!! Plus there was incredible and polite service.
