One of the best places to grab a drink in Vermont. Gina, the owner is awesome. Live music, cribbage tournaments, games, casual hardware shopping... what more could one ask for??

We stopped in seeking help after our car broke down nearby and we needed access to a phone as our service was nonexistent. Ruth was working and was seriously awesome. She let us use their phone and offered us a glass of water along with emotional support. This was my wife and I’s first time in Vermont and we were struck with how kind everyone not only in Harry’s Hardware Store was, but the people of Cabot generally. Also we wish we would have had the opportunity to stick around longer to try the beers, play the games, and eat from the Wednesday night pizza truck! Overall recommend the experience of going in to Harry’s to grab a pint and pray you get Ruth. She is awesome!

What a great local place for a beer or cider and to pick up some Cabot fancy cheese. They were so friendly even after the terrible floods.

Just stopped in to support this interesting store. They didn’t have the bolt we needed but it’s a neat quiet and very comforting place. We didn’t stay to listen to the music sadly. Our trip is taking its toll (laugh) just surpassed 14k miles and have about 2k to go!

Hardware store with a bar and a kitchen in it. We love this kind of business here in rural Vermont. Harry's carries quite a variety of goods, sometimes they don't have the exact thing you need, but it gets close. And evenCome for old time jams, bluegrass shows, beer and cider on tap and pick up that extra twine, bungy cord, fertilizer, fillet knife etc that you remembered you needed. Or just paw through the paint swatch display and nurse your beer. The staff will love that. And it's a good reminder that even your local hardware store employees deserve a good tip.

The most amazing bar in the USA. I'm from Boston and was just passing through for some off roading in Vermont. I've never seen a bar with live music inside a hardware store. I might start one up in Boston.Ps. If you want to get the chicken feed in the shelves behind where the band plays, you have to wait for breaks between songs.

Fun atmosphere for the Saturday night bands. Bar and restaurant, apart of the hardware store.

My kind of place, a combined hardware store and restaurant, with a fantastic beer selection and a great community vibe. I had the spinach, potato and sausage soup plus eggs rolls. The soup had a wonderful flavor and came in a very big bowl, so a great deal. The eggs rolls were also delicious. I don't live in the area, but wish I did as I would be back often for the food, the live music on Saturday nights, the Old-Time Jam on Sundays afternoons, and any time I needed hardware stuff as well.

Only in Cabot is our local hardware store also a bar, restaurant, and music venue. This place exudes Vermont charm from the Adirondack chairs on the porch to the Sunday morning old time music jam sessions, the Den epitomizes Vermont neighborliness. They offer a small selection of local beers and ciders on draft plus many more options in bottles and cans. The menu is limited but the food is good and I especially enjoy the outside area when a band plays in the summer by the stream in the back. My favorite part is the chalk board where they keep a tally so neighbors can buy one another a beer. It doesn't get any cuter or more quaint. The owners are all badass babes so you can be sure you are supporting a good cause.

Super nice general store with everything you’d hope our general store would have and more. What incredible bonus they serve food and beer and have a great little show space. This is a gem.
