made the unfortunate decision of opening a credit card with them. Their website/app is extremely janky and easy to lose contact with support, and the loan processor has been extremely unhelpful and unprofessional.

The atmosphere of this branch is a breath of fresh air compared to a recent experience I had at another local credit union. The staff in Burlington are pleasant and engaging. I look forward to my next visit.

This bank is for older people or anyone who doesn’t use cash app or PayPal. Apparently you can’t use any money transfer apps with this bank. Count me out!

I am VFCU member with both personal and business accounts, and I'm looking forward to moving my business assets (possibly both) elsewhere. This is not a financial institution meant for businesses, even small ones. I can't tell you how many hours I've wasted on the phone with their service team because their systems fail at even the most basic of functions. Most recent example -- VFCU decided to work with a new credit card provider. They send me a new card with a new number. Fine. I activate it, then discover the new card is not linked to my previous account. Can't access my statements to forward to my accountant. I went on their website to try to verify new information. Their form wouldn't accept my info, so I get on the phone with Service. She can't figure it out, so she calls me back an hour later and we solve it. Great. I hang up, and go to pay my credit card bill and guess what? My checking account is not linked for payments. So, again, I go to add a new payment option, and guess what? Their online form will not allow me to enter my routing number to my account. An account that belongs to VFCU! This is one among many examples of the weird, frustrating issues with their online banking. So tired of wasting hours on the phone over their tech failures. As soon as it is straightened out, I'm transferring my business assets to a real bank.

I wanted to share my positive experience with Lori B in getting into my on line account. After a couple of calls with other representatives, she had the knowledge and skill (plus patience) to set me up with a new account. Which solved the problem! Thanks so much Lori.

I love the local vibe and approachability of this bank. The downtown branch is lovely and clean, and overall appealing as a financial institution. I came in to start an account with many questions and found that the employees are friendly, kind, and extremely helpful. The branch manager made sure to answer all my questions and make sure that I got the time I needed to feel secure and excited about banking here. I especially love the care and involvement that VFCU has in local charities and the Vermont community at large.

As an establishment I feel like just another number. Have had this bank since I was 18 and I’m 36 now. Don’t have one overly positive thing to say over that whole time. Don’t befooled they are just another bank haha

I always have a very pleasant experience with Vermont Federal Credit. I have been with them for over a year. They are always very helpful and knowledgeable about all my banking needs. Brad the bank manager and his staff are very kind and appreciate my business. You get this small town experience feel in a big bank . Which I greatly appreciate.

Justin at the Kennedy Dr. building was on top of everything right from the get go. He kept me up to date at every turn, whether it was following up for paperwork, or letting me know what the next step was, he was on it! Awesome customer service from start to finish, couldn't have asked for a better experience.
