“Such a great first experience! The vintage pieces were so pretty and well-curated, the decor well thought out, and the customer service was impeccable. To the employee working on the afternoon of Saturday May 25, thank you so much for the great chat! ?⭐️”

“Rackk and Ruin’s jewelry is simply beautiful and thoughtful and truly timeless. The pieces are made to last a lifetime. I have worn my petite villa hoops and phia necklace everyday for the last 3 years and they still bring me so much joy. I will not buy jewelry anywhere else!”

“This ole' California Beach Gal has struck gold - Old Gold that is right here in Burlington VT! It is the GROOVIEST vintage store in the East and brought me back to my West coast Melrose & Santa Monica Blvd vintage shopping days.
The collection was a mix of new and vintage clothes and accessories, everything from fun street wear to funky business attire and an ultimate selection of over-the-top disco party diva wear.
The staff, Camara and Nicholas are knowledgeable and incredibly creative so ask for their help when putting together a divine groovy look.”

“Lovely little consignment shop with a good variety of all clothes and accessories. Mainly women’s clothes but also a small section of men’s, kids and maternity.”

“An Old Burlington staple. There are sadly very few independently owned, super charming, funky, classic Burlington shops left, and I'm very grateful this one is still here. Any kid that grew up here in the 1990s/early 2000s will get all cozy and nostalgic upon walking in. Super cool stuff to be found, stuff you never knew you wanted. Great people running the shop too. Creeky wood floors. Weaving between towers of precariously perched and reasonably priced treasures, trying not to knock anything over with your bum. Remember that antique shop that was by the tracks in the south end? Where City Market south is now? If you liked that place you'll pee your pants for Juntiques. It's still the 90s in there, and it warms my cynical heart. Stop by and get reminded of how great thrifting/antiquing used to be.”

“Battery street jeans is such a great place with a friendly welcoming environment, i’ve been a regular at BSJ for the past 4 years and since new ownership it has been cleaned up and looks beautiful . Amazing environment to be apart / experience while visiting the shop.
So supportive of local artists and the burlington community.”

“I'm lucky that Barge is in Burlington and not where I live, because I'd struggle to not spend my paychecks here! Go for the expert curation - from vintage decor to choice clothing and fashion and even local artist pieces. I bought way too much and am going back again before I leave town. Until next time, Barge!”

“Come for the curation, not for prices.

Like others have said, the prices are not comparable to other cheap thrift stores that run on donations. There's vendors who then probably pay the actual store, so a couple of layers of middlemen who eat into the price.

Older gap t-shirts are like $50. You're paying for curation, not for the actual value of the item. My boyfriend wanted to throw in all of the vendors only have about a rack and a half for men.

That being said: the designer selection is GENEROUS, and gorgeous. I've only come in 2x, but it's the immediate place I go and where I find the most value.

They have high quality designer pieces at prices that compete against many different online stores, and they clearly have them sectioned off instead of intermingled with everything else.

I would not personally purchase non-designer items here for myself, but it's obvious everyone puts in a lot of effort and care into the store.”
