Great food! Salmon was perfect and well seasoned and their burgers are perfect! Great place to stop when strolling through downtown Burlington. Extensive beer wine and cocktail menu as well. Their outside patio is perfect.. Heated for when it's just a tad too cold! This was the perfect place for us to stop after the eclipse for a bite to eat! Wait was a little long but considering the number of tourists like us in town understandable.Vegetarian options: Many pescitiarian options and black bean burgers and other items.

Went here for a late lunch. Even given the mid-afternoon timing, it was very busy (20+ minute wait). Our wait staff was great; friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. The food seemed pretty good; my salad was OK.Chief knock against this place is the cost; $250 for six people for lunch. If this were dinner with drinks, appetizers, entrees, and maybe dessert, I wouldn't have given the check a second thought. Seemed very pricey for a lunch meal.

Had the breakfast plate. Love the eggs and potatoes. Bacon was the cherry on top.

**see update at the bottom**--they fixed their fries!! 5* again! ***Been a happy customer and loyal customer of Farmhouse for years! The burger is the best. BUT, the last two times, the FRIES have been really not good--sometimes I come JUST for the fries. I was there on Sunday and Monday, and both times it was dark, dark brown and/or black. The manager was amazing and accomodating (thank you!)--but the chef couldn't do anything about it. Being a potato fanatic (I have not seen a potato I don't like), I believe the oil you're using is old and rancid, or the fryer is not working properly. Two days in a row the fries came out like it was a huge clump of oil. I"ll upload pictures of what the fries used to be, and what was served this week...hope you can look in to this.OK..the first picture is from this week--black, reused oil, many were burned beyond recognition (this happened twice, and remade ones), and the second is from last Summer--light, golden, and fluffy inside and not oily. What changed?***Update: Just visited again (told you we can't stop coming here when we come)--Kyle the manager (wonderful) told us they worked on the fries, and you know what??!! They are back to the great fries they have always had--thank YOU so much. I still contend they have one of the best burgers in the business, and as another reviewer said, the condiments are wonderful. Keep up the great work!

Bartenders Will and Jayden did a fantastic job. Service was quick and prompt. The food was even better. I don't know what this place is paying them but this place should pay them more. Excellent service. Hip atmosphere job well done ?

It's fine. Very popular spot so reserve in advance or be prepared to wait. My salad was ok, the greens tasted old. Fries were delicious!

We stopped into this lovely restaurant on a recent day trip to Burlington and what a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the food was very fresh and well prepared. A great bonus was the house made condiments ...just delicious. The beer selection is amazing ...local to international options to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. I have no negatives. Recommend to any and all

Came for Easter brunch, great menu and excellent execution all across the board. The pictures don't lie. Onion rings were unusually good - super crunchy. The honey in the cheese course was a nice touch, too. Espresso martini was chilled perfectly and very well balanced. Would come back for sure.

The food is outstanding and service is exceptional. The acoustics in the building tho...it is very loud and difficult to hear the person sitting next to you. The food is so good tho, would eat here again.

Can't say more about this place. Everything is top notch. The food product they use is something special. You can truly taste the vegetables and the freshness of it.

Wow. What a disappointment dinner was.Burgers were overcooked and their take on a "tire d'erable" (sugaring off for my non-Quebec ppl) was maple syrup mixed with shaved ice. Yeesh. At least our server was pleasant enough.

Fantastic Vermont Gastro pub. The majority of the food and beer comes from Vermont farms and breweries. Thus the name. Great quality food. Dishes are creative, carefully prepared. The atmosphere is fun and casual. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Although I found this place on a "coziest fireside dining experiences" list and I actually didn't see a fireplace, I couldn't be happier we tried this place in our way from Montrral to Boston. The food was nothing short of exceptional. The tuna tartar was amazing, as were the burgers (Although on the smaller side) Our server was efficient and very nice. Definitely recommended

We were hoping for oysters, but learned they are only served for dinner. Our servers gave us time to decide if we could put a lunch together that would make us happy. We started with a Dirty Smugglers Martini. The delicious Parsnip and Apple Bisque was next. Then the P.E.I. Muscles. Everything was quick and tasty. We'll be back!
