Be sure to take note of the return policy - store credit only. I am out of state and made an intentional decision to order online and support a Burlington business instead of ordering direct from the brand. Email communication was slow and the inflexible return policy is not user friendly.

Lovely selection, with a range of prices, making some items accessible even with smaller budgets. In addition to home items, there is stationery, and also bags and jewelry.

Such a beautiful store with an incredibly sophisticated, unique and carefully curated selection of home and gift products at a wide variety of prices. The selection of products is very well considered and cohesive. Items are sourced locally and globally.The staff are very welcoming and super kind. The whole shopping experience is peaceful and without pressure.Such a lovely shopping experience. I highly recommend a visit to Slate.

Though Slate has only been on the Burlington scene for a few years, it already feels like a true pillar of the Church Street Marketplace! Not only are their offerings incredibly well curated,but their focus on well made, ethically sourced, and American made products whenever possible allows you to feel extra great about supporting this locally owned (and woman-owned!) small business. Whether you’re on the hunt for a thoughtful wedding gift, something special for yourself, or looking for full professional design services to redecorate your home, Slate has you covered! AND if you’re not local, their website has recently expanded to include SO many of their home items, accessories, etc. that you can purchase directly online.

A wonderful boutique style modern home goods store with an amazing selection of products and lots of great local art. Products here are on the costly side, but you are NOT here to purchase disposable items. There are also some killer art pieces to check out.The staff here is warm and very helpful.
