“During my travels to Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont I searched for a street wear store to shop some of the latest releases. Banana Stand was an incredible find. Not only did they have most of the recent releases, they also had vintage clothing, skateboards and even their own branded merchandise and shoes. Highly recommend if your in the area to stop by and check them out!”

“It's one of my favorite stores for costume clothing. Kari, the owner, is a wonderful human being. We saw some young women in there recently searching for prom dresses. Super fun, funky, and unique.”

“Tim has earned the title, “The Shoe Whisperer.” He is well-skilled in finding the perfect shoe for anyone, particularly those with feet problems such as me. And more importantly, Tim never compromises style or comfort. He helped me find gorgeous sandals, running shoes, and walking shoes to tackle the cobblestone streets in Europe. And I must not neglect to mention that he has a tremendous amount of patience!”

“Thank you for being so attentive and helpful when we were shopping for a 30th high school reunion outfit. Your employees calmed the nerves, increased the self-confidence, and somehow made the whole experience seem fun! Hats off! (My wife’s review)”

“I popped into Green Envy today and I was blown away. Not only by the beautiful clothing and the store itself, but by the sales people as well. Heather's customer service and bright attitude were a winning combination. I will be visiting the Stowe store as well. Thank you!”

“Great store! I love to support local skateshop while visiting a new town. I decided to try Maven while in Burlington. Not a crazy selection of decks but they had some that i’ve never seen before. Super friendly staff that helped me pick the parts i needed. I was out in no time with a sick new custom board! Great souvenir from Vermont and a great experience overall.”

“I've purchased a few pairs of shoes from Dear Lucy and each time it has been a lovely experience. Most recently I went in to get waterproof boots for the fall, and when I asked about a specific brand (Blondos) the employee led me straight to them and was incredibly attentive while I debated what size to purchase. The next day part of the shoe broke, so I sent an email to Dear Lucy and they immediately responded and said I could bring it back in to switch it out for another pair. When I arrived two days later, they already had the boots boxed and ready for me to go. Anytime I want to purchase a higher quality shoe I go to Dear Lucy. I would highly recommend.”

“I'm much more in the habit of reading reviews than writing them. I was taken aback because there were a few negative reviews about staff or management at Harbour Thread. I try to remember that we never know what is going on in someone else's life that might make them less than pleasant. I was apprehensive when I called the store for help with an order and separate request for my daughter. Lindsey answered the phone and she couldn't possibly have been more pleasant, patient, kind and helpful. I had to take the time to write a review to help offset the negative experiences that some other customers had. Judging from my own experience, it was nothing but positive. I live 5 hours away but I hope someday to meet Lindsey in person and see the beautiful things that Harbour Thread carries firsthand.”

“Honestly had a great experience. It was my first time in Vermont and did not read reviews before coming into the store - but they gave me time to browse, were super attentive, made sure I had shoes to try on with the dresses. It was laidback and exactly what I like when I shop. I like the selection of clothing, and the pricing was better than online matches for the same products so I can’t complain. Would return :)”
