Got zero response from the supposed help number listed at the Shelburne Road location with help consisting of having to leave a message and this was early afternoon, I believe around 3:30 or 4:00. I had opened a dryer because I'd forgotten to add a fabric softener sheet and despite having done this multiple times in the past without problem, the dryer went into some loop of cryptic codes on the display and nothing I could think of to try to get it going again worked to break out of the loop. I had pumped a couple dollars in and I think was robbed of $1.75 worth of time and ended up having to move my laundry to a different dryer and pay again. And to add insult to injury, like I said I got no response whatsoever after leaving a detailed message with all the pertinent info. It's not even so much about the money, but what if that was all I had with me and it's the principle of it. They could have at least returned my call and said sorry that happened, maybe tell me if there was some way I could have gotten it reset and working again, whatever. I'm glad I'm moving into a place with washer and dryer as we speak, but for anything else I need a laundromat or dry cleaning services for I will be sure to use anyone except Greer's... I'm sure they won't lose any sleep over the loss of my business, but I make it a point to never again contribute a penny of profit to businesses that obviously do not care about doing the right thing and/or providing a minimally acceptable customer experience. Good riddance!

Very dirty. I went in to see if I would do my laundry there. Dirty floor. Dirty machines. Cluttered. Machines taped off under construction. UNDESIRABLE. I need to do my laundry so terribly BUT I rather have nothing to wear than put my clothes in their machines. No one is looking after this location nor is anyone cleaning daily. Keep looking.

Never seen a laundry mat where the coin machine doesn't work and they don't take card ?

I put $20 in to the quarter machine and it only gave me $13 back. The number that is listed on the wall inside is not reachable. The numbers that I have called for the other businesses that they have in the surrounding location and left a couple of voicemails, nobody’s responded to.

The attendant at Dorset street is walking around the laundry without wearing a mask. When I told her she wasn’t wearing a mask, she fallowed me to the car and started yelling saying that this is not my business. I asked for her name but she wouldn’t give it to me. Short blond, with pony tail.

It's a good location for dry-cleaning and laundry to be dropped off and done by others. Their other locations have self service laundry, as that is lacking here.

Greer’s has terrible customer service. They lost my pants and then never called me back. Don’t bring your clothes here.

We were visiting from out of state and needed laundry done quickly. Greer’s not only did it, but somehow made it happen despite a power outage. Reasonable prices too.

Very disappointing. I brought in a couple of fur coats I inherited, to be cleaned and repaired. I was told they would call when ready, which they did not. There was a problem with the lining in one coat, and I told them if they needed to replace it, that was fine. I also asked to add fasteners and if there were any questions, to call me. They never called, the notes on the coat when I received them were inaccurate (one note said DO NOT REPLACE LINING). When I called the store to ask about it, they told me to call their customer service office. I've left two messages and no one got back to me. this is now two weeks and no word. I'm not sure what I paid $98 for.

I went in for some advice about some lipstick stained items and potentially some service. The young woman at the counter did not think dry cleaning would be the right thing to do, and so gave me a sample pack of powder detergent to try working into the stains with a toothbrush. It worked perfectly!! I'm so grateful and impressed!

Terrible experience. I dropped off a white dress for dry cleaning and identified several basic food stains needing attention. FOUR days later, I pick it up expecting it to be properly serviced. Upon pickup it becomes clear that absolutely nothing was done to clean the dress. Each and every stain is still present and the stress still shows wrinkles typical of having been recently worn. The only discernible differences being four days gone by, $14 wasted, and the dress being placed in a plastic dry cleaning bag. I brought back the dress in hopes of a refund, as I did not have the time to wait ANOTHER four business days for a second attempt at service. The manager I spoke with was very polite, yet incompetent, and offered no solution. While she kindly acknowledged that the dress stillllllll had sauce crusted onto it, and was stilllllll visibly wrinkled, all she could do was maintain over and over that this was no mistake, but Greer's best/sincere attempt at dry cleaning (best case scenario - a lie) and inform me that "company policy" did not allow her to give refunds until after at least two attempts at service. Entirely useless, as most patrons do not anticipate requiring 8+ business days and several attempts to service one item, when most respectable companies in the developed world offer reliable next day service. When I arrived home I was able to easily remove all the stains with white soap and cold water, confirming that Greer's had done absolutely nothing to clean the dress. To anyone expecting practical and professional service, please take your business elsewhere.

Husband needed sport coat cleaned same day for next day meeting. Called around 10:30am on a Friday, and was told earliest would be Monday, but would be willing to press the item to make it look a bit better for $7.05 if I was able to bring it in as soon as possible. Made it there in 15 minutes & it took only 10 minutes to press! Thanks GREERS!

Thanks for taking my clothes hostage Greers, the day before a job interview. I dropped my clothing off early one morning for a rush dry cleaning job. I spoke at length with the woman at the counter about how I had a job interview and so I absolutely needed my suit back by the following day. I told her that if there was any chance it wouldn't be done, I wouldn't drop it off because I really needed that suit to wear to my interview. I was assured that it would be no problem at all and to come back the following day after 4 PM. When I showed up the following day, the store was closed. No one was answering the phones at any of the locations and there was no way for me to get in touch with anyone. I waited almost an hour, hoping for a miracle, but none came. It's a pity that there's so little competition around here, otherwise this type of customer service would not fly.

Helpful, quick and accommodating. I needed a shirt done quickly and they got it done in less than 12 hours.
