Great experience, both times that I have been here! Recently visited during 2023 Christmas holidays. Great atmosphere, excellent ciders, delicious food and awesome staff!

Some many delicious choices! We each chose a flight so that we could sample more of the menu.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Great cider - the dirty mayor is delicious with a ginger hint, makes for a refreshing sip

Found this place while visiting Burlington with my family. The atmosphere and food were fantastic. My wife and I tried the cider sampler. I definitely recommend!

Citizen Cider is a good restaurant close to downtown Burlington, Vermont - not the best restaurant in the city, but a good one if you’re craving gastropub-y food! There are a lot of great gluten-free options which is a massive benefit to this place. We got a couple of different non-alcoholic drinks made with their All Times drinks (which were very good), the fried artichokes, Seoul tots, Pine St. poutine, fried Brussels sprouts, and the Citizen smash burger - literally all of that was gluten-free, believe it or not! We had mixed opinions about a couple of dishes, but we did really enjoy the Pine St. poutine, fried artichokes, and fried Brussels sprouts. Maybe skip the burger we got - that’s my only suggestion. All in all, this was a good place with great service and definitely one we would go to again if we were craving the type of food we got. You will probably enjoy it!

We had an amazing time at Citizen Cider! Being gluten free, I loved how many drink and food options there were! My wife is pregnant and she loved the cider mocktails. The Brussels sprouts are not to be missed and definitely try a cider flight as well!

Friendly service and good food. I had the beet salad with chicken, seasoned well. The Mac n cheese was great as were the maple wings. Oh the cider doesn't suck either. Dirty major is my fave.

Had a cider flight and some sides. The side state give you is plenty for two people to share. Got fries and brussel sprouts. Should have just gotten one of the sides to share as it was a lot of food. The cider was great. Got the original cider flight.

Citizen Cider offers a pleasant dining experience with very good food, though not exceptional. What sets them apart is their dog-friendly policy, which adds a welcoming touch to the atmosphere. While the cuisine might not reach the heights of greatness, the overall experience is enjoyable, making it a solid choice for those looking for a pet-friendly dining option.Drinks are good!

Main takeaway: do not order a flight. The cider here was decent and they have some creative flavors. Unfortunately, the service was quite underwhelming and frankly, rude. My boyfriend and I wanted to sample a few ciders, so we ordered a flight. The bartender did not even fill the taster glasses half full, and to pour salt on the wound, the "draft" cocktail was poured directly from a can. There was maybe one sip of each cider. When I returned to the bar to ask for fairer pours, the bartender ignored me. They should either get smaller glasses or call it a "tasting flight." Either way, the experience left a bad taste in our mouthes and I wouldn't recommend others to stop by. Go to a brewery instead!

Ciders were delicious! Staff great! We had the poutine fries and tater tots with kimchi and pulled pork, which was out of this world. After the 4 of us shared these tasty items, we were full! Our waiter then recommended the maple creemee at the place in the bay. Oh man, icing on the cake!

Look at this nasty black mold inside Citizen Cider's walk in refrigerator. Ingestion and consumption of black mold can be fatal to humans. This is a major health violation, not to mention DISGUSTING.Stay far away from this nasty place.

Delicious cider with a variety of different tastes to try. Food is also very good! Love the atmosphere of the outdoor seating and dog allowed. I have to say though, the experience is not the same now that they no longer offer growlers. Part of the reason to go in to the store was to get a fresh growler poured. The cans are good but not the same!

Nice little bar to get a drink on a hot day! The drinks are reasonable in terms of price. Servers are nice although there was a younger women in training who put the drink down on the table but seemed very shy. That's okay since it's clear she's in training. I'd come back although not sure I'd have a cocktail cider.
