This is a small country store with limited space and a lot of stuff. They are open late and are convenient to route 4. If you are looking for a full service establishment then you will be disappointed; if you're looking for a country store you won't. This store is real Vermont with quirkiness and without pretense, if you are looking for that, Woodstock is right down the road. Bridgewater is a small community and the Corners Country Store is an asset to those who live here and those just passing through.

July 7, 2023The Bridgewater Corners Store had just recently reopened their deli about a month ago. I stopped in this evening to purchases a cold sandwich as the hot weather deters me from cooking or wanting to eat a hot meal . The man behind the counter prepared my sandwich very well and with quickness. I ordered the Corner's Special as this is one of my favorites and it was filled with three meats, cheese, and veggies, a delicious Sub!Now by looking on the outside of the building you might think to yourself do I dare go in but on the inside there is a warm home like feel atmosphere . The original wood floors creaky as your wander the tight aisles choosing a perfect snack for your appetite . Plus, you can always find a local in the story to provide you with information and intriguing stories of the locals and the surrounding neighborhoods. Definitely a must see in Bridgewater , Vermont !

Not sure why all the haters. Past 8 pm it's the place you can get the things you need. Great selection for a small little store.

I had high hopes for this place. I imagined delicious sandwiches made from a farm to table ethic. It was not any of this and the moment I walked in the door, I had a feeling that it would be a disappointment by the cramped and dirty space. I was hungry, so I wanted to at least give it a fair try and bought a wrap that claimed to have turkey, apple and VT cheddar. It was quite possibly one of the most disappointing sandwiches I've had in a while. It was tasteless, bland and nothing but pale beige throughout. I could only take a couple bites...hoping it would improve with each one ...and since I was hungry...but, it never improved and remained tasteless and bland. I will not be stopping here in the future.

Been several years since we stopped here, since we were on a long road trip I wanted some maple syrup to take back to Texas. Hard to do when flying. Found exactly what I wanted-bought them all happily. Check out girl was busy but helpful. Fun store.

This used to be a friendly store. Now, it is a rude, greedy, overpriced, stingy store which does not appear to care for its customers. Save your money and go elsewhere. The ONLY good thing about the store is that now you can pay for gas at the pump. But I don't buy gas there anymore either, simply because I am annoyed at the way they treat people and that they changed things in such a negative direction in all other respects! Sad!!!!

We come up to Killington a decent amount to ski - sometimes with friends, sometimes with family. We stop at this spot coming in and out for gas, coffee, sandwiches, snacks, etc. We always have a great conversation with Taj at the register! Great people in there.

I've a resident of the town for nearly 20 years and have always appreciated the store for service and especially the quality of the sandwiches. Sadly, that's no longer the case. The quality of the meat is poor and the quantity on the sandwiches is small compared to how the store was run before being sold. Everything is much more expensive. The new management has all but ruined the place. The only bright spot, and why I give two stars instead of one, is that they replaced the gas pumps so we can now pay at the pump....much more convenient.

Went in for some items for the children. I saw a bag of teriyaki beef jerky that was labeled $4.19. The owner stated that the price was wrong and pulled the label off and was very angry and stated that it was actually like $7.49. He had a real attitude and stated he was the owner and was not going to honor the price on the item. Terrible customer service....especially by the owner!!!!!

We went looking for a real maple creamer, based on the recommendations of a waitress who told us that was the thing we needed to try while visiting Vermont. It took some time but we were told to go to the Bridgewater country store. It was fantastic! We look forward to coming back again!

Stopped here on the way to New York State. It's a typical Vermont country general store, has some charm, friendly service, basic selection of grocery goods, a deli, pizza, coffee, a maple cremee ice cream machine, and so on. Not much of a parking lot, though, and it's on a busy road.

Along with making a terrific hamburger (my husband says it's the best ever), I really enjoy getting their natural Vermont products - like cheese and sausage/pepperoni.

Needed a few items was able to get wine, deli items, postcards and bread. Nice staff, also great maple ice cream! A bit pricey but to be expected in the area.

Didn't realize this was more than a convenience store. We were happily surprised to find they have delicious (really yummy!) sandwiches made to order. Plus the stuff we stopped for- toothbrushes, toilet paper, chocolate, sour cream. The people working there were helpful and friendly. We wished we hadn't brought breakfast fixings for the house we were staying in, because otherwise we would have gone straight back to try their breakfast sandwiches. We'll do that next time!
