The staff at Zephyr are always helpful, have a great eye, and are incredibly respectful of the artwork they frame. The definition of a small town business and one that deserves patronage and support, in my eyes.

I entered this store because I noticed they had pens in the front of their store and I needed some new ones for work. I asked the young lady at the desk if they had any that you can choose the color with the same pen. She responded with an arrogance I have never encountered. She continued to belittle my request stating "we don't carry cheapy kid pens and maybe a store that has cheap trinkets would carry them". I told her it wasn't a kids pen and that at the hospital it's very helpful to have multiple colors for note writing. Her response to me was "we are a high end art store so no we wouldn't carry anything cheap like that". She probably won't even remember this conversation but that's the point of my review, if this is the everyday encounter that is given to individuals I am not shocked people are buying more online. I love shopping local because of the relationships and you are helping people you know. However, I will be buying my childish pens on Amazon so I can continue patient care.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The owner frequently goes above and beyond to satisfy customers, whether they are longtime regulars or first timers.Framing is both reasonably priced and outstanding. I've never found a single flaw in any of my purchases.As of recent years, I have seen the store update it's art supplies often. They clearly care about the changing trends and are always trying to bring in new items. Their selection of pens is always a joy to look at, and I find myself often buying a new one even when I only intend on getting other products at the time.Zephyr Designs is one of the locally owned shops that I hope will carry on for many, many more years. Shopping online may often be more convenient but it has never given me any wonderful or memorable experiences.

A must stop in store when shopping in Brattleboro. Very helpful with any of my art, crafts, or framing needs. I have had many inspirational moments while visiting this gem of Brattleboro over the years. The staff here are willing to take the time to understand my needs and share the knowledge of various art tools and supplies. This store has never led me towards buying something I have no need for. If Zephyrs does not carry what I am in need of they graciously direct me to where I can get what I am in need of for the project in hand.The willingness to help me to achieve the project I am working on at the time has done nothing but keep my drive to create going forward. I love creating visual art and am ever so thankful for all the help I find when entering this establishment. Yes, sometimes I go here and have to wait a bit longer for service. But the wait is worth my time as I watch the staff helping others as they help me. Many of art stores I have visited as well as other stores the staff are self involved and seem to have no interest in help the customers rather they make people wait while they tend to their gossip or other non customer focused task.Zephyr Design is a six star establishment.Its 2018 and still this remains at the top of my list of artists supplies.
