Best experience I have ever had at a shop globally. The staff are beyond knowledgeable, the prices are fair and I will absolutely make this my go-to shop moving forward

Good variety of products, Bad costs.
The Burrows Specialized Sports shop is located in busy downtown Vermont. For a small business, it has a good variety of products with a friendly staff that are helpful.
However in saying that, since it is a small business and one of the only quality stores in the area to find sporting goods, they set their services at a high price.
When looking for something as basic as a bicycle mirror I found that Burrows will "Jack Up" the price by as much as 20 or more dollars. Even something as simple as goggles or gloves. I was able to find them at Walmart or Amazon for much cheaper. It goes the same for bigger products such as bicycles when compared to the manufactures site.
There are others that have expressed the same sediment also saying, "They love the guy but...."
If you need something quick and on hand then this place will help. They provide good services such as ski fittings, tuning, some repairs to bicycles, etc. However shop smart and do research when it comes to prices.
I realize that a small business need to make their money back from the products they buy and sell, however, the prices are at the boarder of scalping for the area of people that depend on these products.

Stopped in to take a look at their year end bike sale. Great deals. Picked up a BMX. Woody, Fish, and the staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. Definitely my first stop.

Wow, 10/10 experience buying snowboarding gear! The owners are kind, knowledgeable, patient, and not pushy at all. I was able to get everything I need to hit the slopes the next day.
Brattleboro is pretty magical and it’s because places like this that are locally owned. I felt like the owners were truly invested in me enjoying my time outdoors and they made sure I had the right gear to do so! Thank you all! I’ll be back here for all my sports gear needs!

I’m on a camping bike trip and realized I forgot my pump right before my ride. I was standing outside before they open when an employee noticed me. He let me use a pump before they even opened. This was my first time in this area and shop , but I was blown away. They had everything! I was surprised with how big the store was. The staff was super friendly, I wish I had this shop my for my local shop lol

I was able to have a great run with my daughter in the jogging stroller thanks to the helpful folks at Burrows! They pumped up my tires and the run felt (almost) effortless!
