This is a very lovely place. The rooms are fresh and neat and clean. If I had to be critical, the mattress was not as comfortable as it should've been. Room 111.

Great location and views. We attended for a wedding and had a wonderful time- food and service were excellent. As others have noted, cell reception is spotty but the WiFi is excellent to compensate.

We recently got married at LBL and had the most amazing time. The service, the staff, the preparedness, and professionalism was apparent all weekend. We had family and friends stay in all different types of rooms for different lengths of times and everyone has had amazing things to say. The different rooms and cottages provide options for everyone's needs and price points, the food at the taproom is incredible, and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel cared for. We even took the tiki boat out Sunday after the wedding, which is a MUST do. Thank you to all the staff who made it the best weekend. We will definitely be back! Whether you are looking for a wedding venue or just a great place for the weekend, LBL is the way to go!!

THIS IS A PARADISE.
Beautiful hotel.
The view is amazing.
The room is comfortable, clean and big.
Rooms: The rooms are clean, comfortable, organized. Very well equipped.
Nearby activities: With that beautiful view, in addition to enjoying the landscape, you can enjoy a boat ride.
Or rent Kayaks.
Food and drinks: The hotel has a restaurant, where the food is not only delicious, but is also prepared with fresh vegetables from the garden.

Noteworthy details: We were there for a wedding and everything was beautiful. The staff were exceptional…..I had accidentally left a sentimental item in our room, and they were kind enough to find it and mail it to my home.

Best feature was the view of the lake. Rates were relatively high and food at restaurant was underwhelming and expensive. They did have a nice selection of beer though.

So we’ve been coming here for years was great at first but the last 4 times have been terrible , previously the staff would question our drink orders asking where we were staying after refusing to give us a round of drinks, we are in our 50’s btw and had just spent $200 on dinner. I kept on giving them the benefit of my doubt since I had hope that things would change back to when it was enjoyable. Last night was the last straw, one person ordered chicken that was undercooked and pink and took 3$ off a $25 meal that was uneaten and dangerously inedible, the brisket was mushy and all fat so they decided to take 3$ off that meal that was also inedible. So 6$ off another 200$ meal that some people didn’t even eat. Management eventually took those 2 meals off the bill but after arguing the point and being late to an event. Last straw will never return there are plenty of other great restaurants in the area.

This is a beautiful venue for a wedding or upscale party. The lodging is comfortable and clean. The food is fresh, local, and delicious. The staff all go above and beyond to make sure guests are always happy, comfortable, and welcomed.

We recently celebrated our daughter and son-in law's wedding at Lake Bomoseen Lodge. Our wedding coordinator Angela was amazing, and the head bartender Zanni helped us create an awesome custom wine and cocktail list. Angela anticipated our every need - I can't emphasize enough how stress-free the weekend was. The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating both during the weeks and months of planning, and at the event. We were very pleased with the recommended vendors for photos, dessert, and music.
Guests have option to stay in cottages, condos, or motel rooms. Our room was top floor of the Lake View Lodge which has a balcony just a few feet from the lake.
We booked the 2 hour tiki boat ride for our afternoon rehearsal party - highly recommend!
We ate dinner in the Taproom one evening - I recommend making reservations. Excellent pub style food with generous portions and a good beer list.
We were able to host our own Friday evening gathering by the lakeside fire pit, which was great for a casual BYOB party of 40 guests. The Saturday afternoon wedding ceremony on the hilltop overlooking the lake (with utility vehicle rides to get you up there and back) was absolutely charming with gorgeous views. Cocktail hour was under the lakeside tent. If the weather had turned bad, we had the option of moving the ceremony and cocktail hour inside. The reception dinner and dancing was hosted in the Taproom top floor, which is such a pretty space that only flowers and minimal extra decor were needed to make it look amazing. The plated dinner service was actually delicious. We ended the evening with late-night snacks downstairs in the after-hours Taproom, and definitely recommend this option - it was a great way to unwind from the dancing and excitement. Sunday brunch was in the Taproom second floor; the hot food breakfast was greatly appreciated by our guests as the Lodge office only has cold breakfast options.
It was the perfect venue for a wedding (and weekend-long party). Several guests even stayed an extra night and were happy they could bring their dogs, including the bride and groom whose dog was able to be part of the ceremony. LBL is an ideal location since everything is on site. We felt like this was our own personal family resort for the weekend!

This is not 5 star fancy. It's 5 star clean, comfortable, and picturesque. The check in was quick and easy, the room was spacious and clean, the lake was beautiful. If you can't use stairs ask for a first floor room, we enjoyed being upstairs. Located in a rural area we didn't have phone reception but the WiFi was good! I'd recommend staying in the summer and enjoying the bonfire pits and lake
Rooms: Clean comfortable and roomy
Refrigerator and microwave
Safety: Felt very safe as 2 women traveling together
Walkability: Located on a rural route which has higher traffic volume than normal due to the eclipse; it was still rather quiet.
Food and drinks: There is a restaurant and bar on the grounds and restaurants in the area. The food on location is American

This is a very nice place. The room was very comfortable. The shower could use a little more force. The only thing I will say is that I felt uncomfortable walking across the road and going into a bar with an ice bucket to get ice for our room. That was the only thing I could say that would need consideration whether or not to stay there again.

Stayed her to go to Burlington for the eclipse. It's a really nice place. Clean rooms. We had a room in the lodge on the water side of the road - not quite facing the lake. There was. Nice little circle of chairs around a fire pit to sit in (we did not make a fire). Staff was friendly. Restaurant across the street was good too. Only issue was that we seemed to be over a heating system that signed like a garage door opening. Noisy but not enough to wake us up fortunately. I would definitely go back.
