It's been a while since I visited but The Dollhouse and Toy Museum in Vermont is great.Nearly every wall and corner was filled with dolls, toys, cars, books and historical information. It's a good place to bring kids. And the woman who runs the place is remarkably kind and knowledgeable.

I stopped here on a whim, and I'm so glad that I did! The collection of dollhouses and toys is exquisitely detailed and extensive for such a small space. My kids (1 and 3) were absolutely fascinated with everything. There was even a little play area with a dollhouse that they could play with. This was exactly the roadtrip stop that we desperately needed on a cold afternoon.

Quite a find! This small Victorian style home has been transformed into a toy and dollhouse treasure. Dolls - themed, character, paper, molded, big and small along with dollhouses of all kinds spread put on both floors. Watch your step and walk slowly because there is lots to see, admire and reminisce about as you spot that doll, toy, or puppet you once had. Because of its smallness this museum large groups may have to spread out or take your turns walking among the many displays.

A doll and dollhouse hobbiest has converted this entire house to a small museum in Bennington, VT. There is a range of dolls and doll house sizes, some historic, many popular over the decades. Talking with proprietor is a must. I came because my friend from Thailand is a real doll and dollhouse connoisseur and stayed with me a couple days on her US trip. She plans to visit some other doll museums as she travels for a couple months. I, personally, enjoyed the small puppet display and the information shared with the display. I know my best friend will be bringing family and enjoying the small teddy bear display.

This museum is AMAZING! The dollhouses are all hand built, intricately designed miniature homes. There is even an exhibit of tiny museum exhibits! There are a few dollhouses used for hands on enjoyment and if you call the curator, you can set up an English tea. Excellent!

An amazing place to see while you are visiting Southern Vermont is Dollhouse and Toy Museum of Vermont. My family which includes my husband, my in laws, sister-in-law and her husband and their children were warmly welcomed. We spent an hour looking at the various collections and talking with the owner. We all enjoyed the experience. This place shouldn’t be missed. Go and visit this unique museum. Thank you for the wonderful experience, something my family will remember, especially all the amazing dolls- like John F Kennedy, Lucy, Babe Ruth and of course all the cute little doll houses.

We visited this museum on a whim. So many wonderful things packed into a small but well organized space. Dolls, toys, thousands of miniatures. Saw some amazing things representing multiple countries. The miniature paintings and the beautiful porcelain dolls were some of my personal favorites. My only quibble is the limited hours the museum is open. I believe weekends are the regular and not Covid influenced hours. Saturday and Sunday afternoons only.
