Today I brought my 2018 Lexus (48,790 miles) in for an oil change and a Vermont State inspection. I was informed by Chris Brown that the inspection failed to pass because the rear brake rotor was corroded and "delaminating". He supported his position by showing me a picture taken from under the car that focused on a small area of the rotor that was visible from the undercarriage. The rotor which comprises the brake component in question is solid steel. There is no possbility that it could be "delaminating". It is absolutely something that rusts/corrodes due to the exposure to moisture, rain, and snow. Even rusted, the component works fine, and if anything were needed to be done it could be machined or sanded to remove the rust.I left without getting an inspection sticker, drove 2 miles to another certified state inspection site where the car passed inspection. I was told my car was in great shape. It is my opinion that Coggins Toyota's service department is a den of thieves, looking to rip off any unsuspecting vehicle owner by adding unnecessary repairs to the invoice. If I could rate them as a zero, I would have done so. Before today I had an amazing 30 year relationship with a Toyota Service center in Southeastern MA where I was able to take their word and work as if it were gospel.I will never again do business with Coggins Toyota in Bennington. Neither should you!!! Caveat Emptor

Purchase experience was satisfactory, however when an issue with the vehicle came up later on, within the Toyota Certified Pre-Owned warranty, they were unwilling to assist I've escalated to Toyota Customer Care who also has ruled to not assist with the necessary repair. My suggestion would be to check over any vehicles you're considering purchasing from this dealer very carefully...every panel including the roof and point out any potential issues/defects and document in front of them. Very disappointing as I love the vehicle but the customer service is sub-par.

Go to literally any other Toyota dealer.I cannot recommend using Coggins for your next car purchase. I drove 130 miles to encounter high pressure salesmen (including the manager) they skim through all their papers and make you feel like they're not important including their warranty that they bill as a 90 day 3,000 mile warranty only to surprise you with a "it's a power train only warranty" when you call up three days later because a bunch of lights come up on the dash of your new to you used car.200 miles into owning the car, driving on the highway I got ABS Failure, ESC Failure, Brake Failure, TPMS Failure, and City Safe failure. I was able to pull off the highway but almost got into an accident because the car lost all throttle and I was just barely able to roll out of the way. Doug Crossman was my salesman and was incredibly quick to tell me as I'm stranded in a parking lot how Vermont doesn't have any lemon laws and that I'd need to find someone to tow it to them because they won't help.I'm bringing the car I purchased to Volvo tomorrow to see how much Coggins forgot to disclose, I suspect this will be an expensive lesson and will update accordingly.

I brought my car in for a check engine light and was expecting a diagnosis on the problem with my vehicle. They performed an MPI on my vehicle which I have gotten from Toyota in the past as a free service. The only work done on the vehicle was an MPI, and it costs $139. It takes 15-25 minutes to do this and nothing was fixed on the vehicle. I'd say they are advertising false information and the photo I'm putting up shows their original quoted price. The check engine light was off when my car was returned to me, but only after I got a $2,200 estimate for repairs. In my opinion, this business only wants to make money off of you and I would never recommend it. I paid for the "service" and am going to get my car looked at elsewhere.

I purchased a new car from Coggins Toyota. My salesman Mike Rosso was exceptional in helping me purchase my car.

The service I have received at Coggins is exceptional. I have a 11 year old Prius with over 100K miles. Previously I had the car serviced at a Toyota dealership in Boston. In the past 2 years we have spent more time in this area so started bringing the car to Coggins. Todd has been our service manager throughout. He is really exceptional in every way. Makes access to service easy, accommodating and flexible. He explains what is needed and what is not needed in easy to understand language. It is because of Todd that I recommend Coggins to others and have switched my service from Boston to Coggins. Exceptional service is almost impossible to find these days. Makes a huge difference in every way. Thank you Todd!

Bought my first car here and couldn’t be happier. I was able to test drive very close to closing, which was a huge relief for me! They almost stayed two hours after closing time to go through the purchasing process. Insurance and plates were taken care of by Coggins as well. Such polite staff and they went above and beyond. Thank you!

Had a great experience with getting my Tundra serviced at Coggins. Was able to talk with the mechanic after the 120k service and everyone I dealt with was very much customer first. Dave my shuttle driver was prompt & friendly completing a great full circle experience. This location was owned prior by Lithia but I will be going back when I need other services done.
