The Mataele’s own Hawaiian Hut which is one of the oldest Pacific Island business in Utah. One of our go to’s for everything and anything Polynesian. Slippers to Peanut Slabs, Bongo’s to traditional Tongan items for funerals, Bdays, Marriages.

I needed a last min retirement gift for a friend who was retiring within the hour. I raced to the Hawaiuan Hut and a gracious aunti let me in 5mins early to pick out kukui and fresh leis. She was so accommodating and the transaction took less than 5mins. I was able to race back to work and send my friend away with aloha. Thank you for this great gift! I'm coming back for more alohawear this week. Mahalo!

Needed a quick Lei for graduation and they had a great selection of real and fake ones. Friendly staff that even gave us some dry ice for the flower lei.

Only place I can find slippa's for my daughter and I. The Keke is amazing wonderful to be able to just stop by and grab some rather than have to go through making it yourself. Only down side as I wish they had it more often

Very rude. I’ve been here a couple times and they stare at you, have a rude face, are irritated when you ask too many questions. I feel very judged and have anxiety when going into this store. 1/5 stars. Have found better customer service and items elsewhere. Thumbs up and I’ll drop the flower shop I now buy my leis from.

I always come here when I need fresh leis for events. They also have seis (flowers to wear in your ear or hair) and smaller island jewelry that I always find myself wanting. They have different types of island necklaces from the different islands. Their island wear is small, but they have decent designs. They also have some snacks from the islands like bongos and twisties, which I crave here and there. I’m just naming things I normally go there for, but they have a wider selection of items.

Cute, no frills store. I went in for fresh flower leis for graduation and they were making them by hand in store as I arrived. Several different styles to choose from. I found exactly what I wanted for my daughter's college graduation. Lot's of other island merchandise and food as well. I will definitely be a return customer!

We love Hawaii. We came here to see what kind of goodies we could buy that is we can't unless we're on the islands. We'll be back

I was looking for a Lei for a funeral. She had a very beautiful one in the fridge and it was as though it was made for my loved one... Thank you so much! It meant so much to have found it! Oh, and they have plenty frozen Poly food... Beautiful dresses and shirts.
