Smart movers moved and stored we had some scratches on some nice pieces of furniture but they were very fair with us. They work hard hood guys do your own packing if you care about your stuff

Very communicative owner and very humble crew. They came for my move with just one day’s notice and did an awesome job!
Pack-Rat could not deliver my container outside my house due to HOA rules in my community and I felt very stressful about picking up my stuff that’s 45 minutes away and move them into my house, especially during the Labor Day weekend.
Fortunately, I found Matt and he was very helpful and understanding of my situation and sent his awesome crew over to help me out. Both the guys were very calm and focused on their work. They literally played Tetris fitting everything in their truck, which looked small, but was actually pretty big to fit a 3 bedroom house.
Jason went an extra mile and removed a door and the legs of my couch to fit it in even though the couch was not part of the job!
Definitely recommend the whole team for your moving needs and I would hire them again if I had to move again!!!

This is the second time I've used smart move, and I absolutely love them! There was an accident during this most recent move where a light was broken and the owner, Matt, quickly and efficiently worked with me to get it fixed. Because I was living in an apartment complex, he connected with the leasing office and got it taken care of so that it didn't have to come out of my security deposit. This is the honesty and small business mentality that I love and adore. I'm glad no one was hurt and accidents happen, and I appreciate the effective remediation and response time. Matt gave me his personal phone number to handle all of this and because of the way it was handled, I will be using them again! Plus, they moved me quickly and efficiently as well, which is always appreciated!

We had booked a moved with the company Zippy Shell. Zippy Shell canceled delivery of our storage pods the morning it was to be delivered. Smart Move called us because Zippy had hired them as a subcontractor and called them to cancel the Shells. We told them what happened. They had already sent their teams home and they were doing other projects and unavailable. The owner said he would get us the shell if he had to drive it himself they followed through and fit almost all of our stuff from a 4 bedroom house into a single pod. The really saved us from disaster. Staying extra days in our military housing would have had major consequences. They we perfect in every way. If you live on Dugway or Hill AFB, use these guys. They had the process of accessing military bases mastered.

Rich was willing to squeeze me into his busy schedule with only a few days notice. He was friendly and pleasant to work with. The company rates are the best I found after calling about 20 different moving companies. I highly recommend this moving company.

I have to say that working with Matt Irvine has been one of the best experiences in a SNAFU of a move. Smart Move was contracted to pack up and store my furniture in early June. When I contacted the contracting agency I was told that my pod could not be unloaded until Jul 6. When I called Matt from Smart Move, he moved heaven and earth and got my pod to me and unloaded the afternoon that contacted them (Jun 25). He was so helpful and communicative. He gave me all the information that I needed and helped work through the BS with the contracting company (who were obstructive at every turn).

Do not use this company. First they showed up a hour late. Poor quality dinged up walls. Will not return phone calls. Does not try to make things right. I hope whoever reads this does not use this company do your self a favor call someone else. Got hung up on multiple times and phone number blocked while trying to get ahold of them. Paid them $450 bucks for them to not perform. The \\\"manager\\\" stood there the whole time while not even working making the other two who clearly have no experience work.

If I could rate with more stars I would! I highly recommend smart move! They are hard working and efficient. They carefully moved everything so no walls were dinged and packed it in the truck safely so there was no damage to our furniture. The customer service can’t be beat we had a little hiccup and gave them more work than anticipated. Matt handled it with grace and came out to help get the job done. He could have charged extra and didn’t which shows how much he cares about customers! It’s also obvious how much he values his employees. If you are moving or know someone moving this is the company you want to go with!

The workers were very polite, professional and hard workers. They were also a lot of fun to talk to.We were given a very good deal on moving to our new apartment.We will use the company again.

Didn't finish our move, didn't replace broken furniture, didn't repair holes they left in our drywall.The movers themselves were great to work with, but they showed up with fewer guys and a smaller truck than they said they had planned for. This resulted in only half our move being done on day one, which put us in a huge bind with getting out of our old house in time for our contract. Then they didn't finish the move the next day. We had to rent a truck and finish it ourselves, which is the whole reason to hire movers in the first place. They were not apologetic and blamed us. They also put holes and gashes in our wall and damaged several pieces of furniture which they promised to repair or replace. We got them to reimburse us for one small $20 plastic part, but all the other furniture and holes in our wall were never taken care of. At first they were very responsive, but then they stopped responding so we just gave up. We are repairing the walls ourselves and cutting our losses with an expensive dresser which is completely unusable, and several other pieces that got scratched. I have seen other negative comments get replied to by the owner saying that they weren't a real client, and that the reviewer must have their moving companies mixed up. That may be true in some cases, but to pre-empt that, this is Smart Move, owned by Matthew Irvine and Rich Salisbury.
