Well I skipped writing a review the first bad experience but today in calling I just spoke with Alex Tuesday morning about replacing cv axel boots I mentioned I have the parts just need the labor performed he said 450$ and I told him I would call once I have the parts … today called spoke to Sam who informed me they do customers parts … I don’t understand the reason behind this if I’m paying for the service I’m using brand new parts I just purchased … but I guess since there isn’t a mark up on the parts is why they refuse to use my parts. This is why good business go out of business too many people to talk to to answer the same question differently. Just came in and spent 60$ yesterday i was going to drop 450$+ on the next repairs but I guess not the case … you guys should all train the same if no is the answer just say that

These guys are great. Best prices. Customer service is great. Always a pleasure to get my car fixed here. Fast easy process. If your looking for someone new I would definitely recommend Back Shop Auto to anyone.

These mechanics don't know what they're doing and they'll lie to your face to get your money. I had them changed my belts as part of regular maintenance but now my car squeals when it starts. New belts shouldn't make noise. I also had them check my spark plugs & ignition coils because my car was misfiring and wouldn spark to start at times. Alex who claimed to be one of the owners insisted it was the crank shaft gear sensor and replaced it with a non Hyundai part. He assured me it would fix my issues and if it didn't he'd refund me. 45 days later, my check engine light is back on and my cylinders are misfiring. I speak with Alex to request my refund per his promise and he tells me "I'll think about it." My car worked better before these idiots touched it. Don't do business here, find a better auto shop, especially if you're a woman.

Been going here for years but sadly looking for another shop. They don’t seem to have a good hold on anything anymore. Last year my son and I both took our cars in for squeaky brakes and were told it was fine and probably just the weather. Took the cars back when it got unbearable and shakey and had to replace everything ($$$).
I drop my car off and I’m told I need to make an appt. I call to make an appt and they laugh at me and tell me to just drop my car off. Most recently we dropped my son’s car off Monday night, didn’t get any phone call so we call them Tuesday around noon for an update. We are told there’s a little backup, but they’ll get to it. No problem. Call back at 5:00 because they close at 6 for an update. Greg (the owner) proceeds to yell and degrade. “Didn’t you see how many cars were here?!!!” etc. We were told, again, to make an appt when before they said to just drop it off. What’s the deal? All we would have needed was a call that morning to say, “We’re overloaded—please bring it back another time.”
Travis is always a ray of sunshine. So knowledgeable and kind. If I could only work with him, we’d keep coming back. Hoping he opens up his own shop someday…? Until then we’re looking for a more competent and compassionate shop. Every interaction we’ve had with Greg has been unpleasant.

I came to this auto shop due to good reviews. I came into the office and told the mechanic that my tires vibrate hard while driving so he could give it a test drive to find out what is broken to cause the wheels vibrating so bad. He said "we only do mechanic work, nothing with the tires". What a lousy stupid response from a mechanic. Or discrimination.
Without a second explanation to him, I left to a different auto shop and told the mechanic the same thing. He gave it a test drive and able to tell what is broken.
