"I joined this gym hoping for a positive experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The equipment is outdated and often in disrepair. The cleanliness of the facilities leaves much to be desired, and the staff seem disinterested in addressing member concerns. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone looking for a quality fitness experience."

I see a lot of negative comments regarding billing. I've not had any surprise fees. I carefully read over the "fine print" prior to signing up & have never had a problem. I believe I'm going on two years now. Read over the fine print carefully & you should be fine.Other than that, it's a great gym. A good selection of free weights, machines, cardio, pool, sauna, steam room, basketball court, & group fitness classes.

Very spacious gym with lots of equipment so you shouldn't find yourself waiting around when it gets busy. Very nice and well-kept. Not really into the big commercialized, sort of gyms and dealt with a creepy staring person the first time I ever went there, so I did not return.

I like the way the gym is set up. The coaches and instructors are visible. The air inside has great circulation and ventilation. It is clean. There are always wipes to clean equipment before and after use.

Like the gym, but overly expensive and lots of hidden and extra fees tacked on. Cannot get people at the facility to resolve billing issues, cannot get a real person to answer you or fix billing issues. Horrible customer service. Great crowds but probably because they are expensive and have bad customer service.

Buyer beware. TERRIBLE!! If I could give zero stars I would. My son wanted a membership when he was just reaching 16 in August of 22. He just turned 17 recently so he has had his membership for over a year. Everything has been awesome until 10/23 when I noticed Vasa/Paramount Acceptance has been charging my account the $29.48 monthly membership AND $17.28 a month for a guest since 5/23. When I called Vasa West Jordan, they had no clue who my son was and when they pulled up his account with a phone number, it belongs to some stranger. Paramount Acceptance is no better to work with. They claim my son added a guest membership allowing the $17.28 charge per month from my debit card. So they don't allow a minor to start an account but they do allow them to make changes to an account on a debit card that doesn't belong to them? Suspicious. Not to mention my son never added a guest pass. He goes with other members so no guest pass needed. When I called paramount the lady was ignorant. I ended up canceling the membership entirely with no refund on the guest pass to me. BUYER BE SUPER CAUTIOUS. I would never allow my sons or anyone I care about to visit or get a membership with Vasa/Paramount Acceptance. Consider this your consumer warning.

do not open an account with vasa. it is impossible to cancel your account. I know several people who have tried and all currently still have accounts. one lady on the phone told us the only way to cancel is to die

Great facility/equipment. Considering cancelling membership however. I’m unimpressed with level of service employees are capable of providing to your account. Need to dispute incorrect charges? Need to change plans? I’ve dealt with this. Their protocol is to give you a customer service phone number. Limited hours/availability and speed when you call that number. Creates more friction/wasted time for members needing help. Issues do not get resolved fast, several days pass and I can’t figure out why I was charged $160.Tip: empower front desk to handle issues on the spot. Speed and efficiency is always appreciated.

Good experience here at vasa fitness. Some equipment is different than than the other gym that I also go to, which is a good thing. I like the pool, steam room and Jacuzzi also. They come in handy if I am sore and/or tired. It would be nice for a soap dish in the showers(somewhere to put your soap/shampoo while showering. Punching bag is good for me. You have to get used to the hours if you have been used to a 24 hour center, but its doable. Staff is great and try to help me with whatever I might need. Thank you very much Vasa.

The spaces between the wood slats in the sauna need a good cleaning especially the ones leading to the upper sitting area. The shorts spinner needs a good cleaning, it smells like mildew. More ropes are needed for the pulley machines.

It's a great gym if you're just looking for workout equipment. They have many weight lifting and cardio machines which are always available when I go from 4 to 5:30 am. I wouldn't pay for more than a basic membership after reading about the locker rooms, bathrooms, and sauna. I've never been in those rooms, but it doesn't sound like they're kept very clean. Also, I wish someone else would be in charge of the music. Listening to "It's Getting Hot in Here" isn't my favorite way to start the day ?

The layout if this gym is great. However like all SL Valley gyms there are many broken machines and the bathrooms and showers are filthy. What happened to "Covid" style cleaning? Plus I have been a "VIP" member since 2012 and now that they have scanners on the massage chair, I cant use them? Even though I pay for them, my code doesn't work. No staff member knows why, nor knows how to help me fix it. I am wondering why they have front end staff, especially at the Taylorsville center. I love working out at Vasa, but if it wasn't for the classes, I would switch to Planet Fitness. Their gym is beautiful and clean. Just no group classes.

Was kinda disappointed today! I have a membership with the visitor pass, myself and my visitors came to enjoy the hot tub! I had an extra guest and the guy wanted to charge 15$ when they were closing in less than an hour! Could he have offered a free tour day? After paying my membership for years I felt so bad they couldn't help us out for that hour ?
