This daycare is the cleanest, most organized daycare I have seen in a long time.They have activities and centers scheduled for the school-agers, every day. The entire summer is planned out with field trips, water days, and crafts.These are pictures from today.I've seen a post recently that was negative, but they used pictures from 3 years ago with rugs they no longer have.People are toxic when they have a bill they do not want to pay.There are kids who ask their parents to come back later, every day, because they are having so much fun that they don't want to go home yet.

This location has fallen apart. Staff is constantly changing, no one knows what they are doing, there’s not a consistant teacher in the classrooms, it’s FILTHY..I walked in and a pile of feces was on the floor!!! The entire building is completely trashed and always dirty, I’ve never seen someone clean, I have taken pictures and it looks like a hoarders house. I have witnessed teachers ignore kids and leave 3 year olds crying for who knows how long. The new lady named Donna who is the “director” doesn’t seem to know what planet she is on little own know anything that is going on at the center. She could not help with account inquiries, she always says “I don’t know” but is quick to tell you how much money you owe in a loud aggressive way with other parents standing near by, she is mean, demeaning, and has no business manners. My kids are crying at the thought if having to return to daycare after the weekends, and they never used to cry. I am in search of a new place and I’m horrified that my boys have to go to this place every day until I find a new daycare. My 2 school age children have walked to the daycare after school due to the daycare not showing up to pick them up and the principal at the school having to walk the entire daycare group to the daycare. Avoid this place at all costs!!!! The west valley location is much better and has decent staff that know what they are doing, and treat both parents and children with respect and kindness. My heart breaks for the kids that are too young to tell their parents how they are being treated when they are dropped off.. absolute worst place to bring your kids, and absolute worst staff. Donna was the worst decision that has been made and she is running people right out the doors!

I absolutely love my experience with the staff and facilities here at small world! I have a 3 year old daughter and was so nervous to try a new daycare after a horrible past with a different provider. The ladies at Small world are so nice, patient and understanding not just with the children but also with parents! Every concern I have ever had was addressed and handled promptly and fairly. My child is always clean and actively learning and participating with other children. My child loves her teachers! And I don’t know what I would do without these ladies.

Katie is an amazing director! I have loved every second of working here! I am paid fairly I get off on time and she is so understanding with medical issues! I would not want to work under anyone else! She is a prime example of a perfect boss, she is professional, understanding, prompt, and above all else cares for the kids in her daycare like they are her own! You could not find a better director anywhere!

Can i just say as a staff/mom that i have the best management ever! I came from another daycare where the director was horrible and rude never valuded us or her center! Since moving to small worlds i love work now and my child loves it too. Katie has made such an impacted on so many lives there she is an AMAZING DIRECTOR!!!! i get paid good and treated good. And the other teacher as well. I wouldnt want it any other way. I love the knowledge and experiences i have learned working there

I love the director Katie! This has been an amazing place to work and Katie had made that possible!!! She has been kind, caring, attentive, professional, and charismatic since I started working there! She is so loving to the kids and work hard to make sure you are paid fairly and you are off work at your scheduled time! She goes above and beyond when you aren't feeling well or need to discuss changes for a classroom! She is so knowledgeable about how to help with behavioral problems and is always willing to lend a helping hand! This place would not run without her!!!

My daughter actually started at your daycare PRIOR to Covid and I did get to drop her off and pick her up from the classroom. This was before Mrs. April went on maternity leave. I found her AND other kids on top of the table and even commented why there are kids on top of the table and the young teacher or teacher assistant said "oh we are watching them". I informed Mrs. April and the director the next morning. My daughter was fine with drop off after the first week but started to cry and tug at me and dad after the first week. After the Covid restrictions, you switched to drop offs at the lobby and this went on for a few months but still during those few months...I couldn't get my daughter to come in on her own without crying and refusing to stay with you. Your director was informed an investigator was coming beforehand so she prepped her teachers on how to act to stay in business. I know for a fact she had a meeting with those teachers. You can't explain why my child was putting her hands over her head from your abuse though right? After 2 weeks in the new daycare she learned to trust her teachers and never...never did I struggle with drop off. She changed completely to her happy self and at times asked me and daddy to go home and pick her up later because she felt so safe and happy to be at the new daycare. You should not be in business. Your classrooms are unsanitary, smell so bad and you allow your teachers to abuse children. This causes PTSD, emotional distress, and trust issues with these kids. I pray that every parent does their research before trusting their kids with you. You're endangering our kids lives.

We went through 2 at home day cares before finding Small World. I was so happy to have my infant in a class with other kids her age. She's now moved up to the toddler room and comes home every day with either a new word or expression. The teachers and staff are all so nice. Thanks Small World!

We've enjoy having our kids at small world. Even through a pandemic, they've managed to help our kids be safe and still allow us to work. Our kids enjoy the teachers and their newfound friends as well. We took a break from daycare to try and save money, but when that didn't pan out we went straight back to our favorite teachers!

This is our first experience with a child, and thus with day care. Small World has been so great with our little one. They keep us well informed on his day to day, and are quick to reach out if they have any concerns. My mind is at ease when I know he is there with them.

I have been bringing my daughter here since she was 7 months old, from a recommendation from a coworker, and I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I never worry about my daughter's care at Small World. The teachers and management staff are amazing! Shout out to Megan, Michelle, and Natalie. My daughter comes home every day singing a new song, saying new words (above her age level), and happy as can be. She talks about her teachers all night long. The staff goes above and beyond for my child. It's a relief to know she is safe, cared for, and loved, especially during COVID.The facility is clean & accessible. They also recently started using an app that makes it so easy for me as a full-time working parent to keep in touch with her teachers, and they will send me pictures and fun highlights of her day. I highly recommend Small World West Jordan to any parent thinking about daycare for their child. Thank you, Small World!

We have been relying on Small World for just over a year, and couldn’t be more pleased!! Asking someone else to love your child the way you do is an enormous favor, but they’re happy to comply. They use the Procare app to keep us updated all day long. I get pictures, messages and follow his daily routine. It makes the daily distance feel shorter.The teachers are incredible. They have taught my one year old so many things and are happy to collaborate with me, so that he has the best possible outcome. His vocabulary is extensive for his age and I see constant results. As a new, and terrified, mom, I am very thankful for the guidance and support.My little guy loves everyone there. Tears are extremely rare when I drop him off. In fact, there are plenty of times that he has leapt out of my arms. It is, hands down, the best daycare available.

I absolutely LOVE small world and so does my child. My son loves being there. I drop him off and he walks away so happy. When I pick him up he’s so happy. They’re are super nice and patient with my child. The last day care my son was at he would cry every time I dropped him off. I could tell he was miserable there. Small world made him feel comfortable and cared for. Thank you small world for taking good care of my son!

My daughter loves Small World. She has made so many friends and she loves her "lady's" up front. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Our son loves his teachers at Small World, and my husband and I love the daily pictures and updates. When we had an issue with a food allergy, they were quick to reach out to us and it gives us total peace of mind that he is being well cared for while we're at work.
