I purchased and had installed siding, three panel door sliding door, and a set of exterior doors. That was one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made, costing me lots of money. They made all kinds of promises that were never kept.

UPDATE: Thank you Sears for contacting me. I was informed I will receive a full credit back to my Sears account. Once that is verified, this post will be deleted. Sears Home Services is a rip off. We are getting bids to upgrade counter tops. I know better, but I signed a contract with Sears Home Improvement before I got my other bids. Avoid Sears. They pitch their granite as superior because it is the highest grade. After signing, my other bids came in much lower. I googled granite pricing & quality. Pricing is based on sourcing cost & color not quality of material. Lower priced/graded granite can be better quality & hardness than higher graded granite. I was duped - Sears granite is overpriced. 6 days after signing, I cancelled and received this letter from Sears Home Improvement District Manager David Rohde telling me "at their sole discretion" they are charging me $500 + 30% of materials ordered. No way they ordered materials - hadn't even measured. It sucks to pay them for nothing, but I'm still better off with a trustworthy contractor. Avoid Sears Home Improvement. These guys are dishonest & greedy with tricky contracts.

I love sears, has been this way since I was a kid. It is sad to see how the company has ended up over the years. In the end I still love their products, and their tool warranty is amazing. One of my go to places I end up finding myself. I wish their quality didn't go down over the years. In the end the professional tool brand is still pretty excellent

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Just read all the reviews regarding the manager at this location. His name is Adam and he has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Doesn't care about customer retention and is very rude. This is one of the worst places to return anything. If you buy something from here you better pray that you do not have to return it. I purchase an item when it was for sale and when I tried to exchange it because it was not a good product they refused to exchange it with the sales price. So I had to pay the extra amount that was on sale. “Manager†Adam didn't care about the situation. I will never shop here again and have opened a BBB complaint against this store

On March 2 I had a service tech come out for in warranty range repair. Tech ordered the part and rescheduled an appointment March 19 for them to install part. March 19 was a no show by the sears team with no call to let me know or to reschedule. I called the 800 number to set a new appointment for March 24 a Saturday, the tech came out to install the part that had been shipped to my house but the wrong part had been ordered. The tech ordered the correct part and rescheduled another appointment for April 5. I took off work again only for another no show. I then installed the part myself and the range works fine but I have yet to hear from sears or the techs that did not show up. They just don't care, in their minds everything must be good since I haven't rescheduled. Horrible customer service repair team. I would have been ok with the missed appointments if they had just called to let me know. I would have given a no stars but option not there.

I called to get someone to come look at my garage door which has been giving me trouble since I bought the home a year ago. They sent someone, who came right when he said he would, he called when he was there, was very friendly, gave me a free quote and took time during his free quote visit to actually fix the garage (didn't take long). Very professional, very fast, and the garage is completely fixed. I could not be happier with the service and the fixed garage!

I've been here sporadically over the years only when what I needed had to come from Sears. Just a few months ago, you had empty shelves, abandoned cash registers and lots of unused space. The remodel last year helped the appearance of the store, but a few months later starting to see empty shelves again. This review is for Steve. A few weeks ago, I went in late to do some comparison shopping for some shelving extremely close to closing time. I asked grabbed Steve to ask some quick questions on some Gladiator wall storage units. He took the time to show me how they worked and give good installation advise and ideas. He also confirmed the sale price (much cheaper than the well know retailer across the street). On top of that, he sent two younger workers in back to physically check on the actual stock instead of relying on what the system said. On top of that, he had them load it after I purchased, which was nearly 45 minutes after closing time. After all, I purchased close to $600 (as verified on the Gladiator website) worth of product for $359 before tax. With service like that I hope this place stays in business.

Always had a great experience here! Their exchange policy is fantastic!
