I had a dead battery and got a jump start to make it to the store to buy a new battery. Bought my last one at O'Reilly, lasted twice as long as the warranty so I was replacing with exact same one. There are 2 employees, and 2 other customers besides me. As I get to the counter the employee tells another customer walking around that they installed their windshield wipers for him. I give my info and tell them the battery I want and ask if they can install. They tell me no, they are too busy with just 2 employees? So I buy the battery, go to my car and call my son to come down to the store to install because I can't start my car again. While I am waiting, the other customers leave so I am parked out front with the hood up, sitting in my car in 90 degree weather. My son shows up as 1 more customer comes in. He removes my old one, places it on the ground next to the new one and realizes they gave me the wrong battery, it's much smaller and a different #. Had to then go back into the store, exchange for the right one, and then go install. I am a 60 year old woman on my own and refused help, but they installed windshields wipers for a man in his 20's.

They never seem to have what I need. I mean, a parts store should carry crush washers for brake banjo bolts. These parts stores nowadays seem to just want to sell batteries and wiper blades.
