I came in clueless, trying to find out if my PlayStation 2 still worked. Gus was amazingly brilliant and helped do a complete problem solve/tech-support job. He helped me get my system up and running. He is very skilled in his customer service, (patience, kindness these things go along way), and his knowledge base of the systems and what they were worth as well as how to keep them working was priceless. Thank you so much Gus for all your help I highly recommend anyone coming in, as he represented GameStop very well. This guy deserves bonus!

I tried returning a game within 7 day time frame and the person working[aaron] said I should wait to see if the guy on fb marketplace goes through with selling me the game cheaper than what I bought it for through gamestop. I didn't want to but ended up listening to him. He said i had 15 days to return it. Then I tried coming back after 9 days since purchase and he tells me oh 15 days is only for store credit, 7 days is for cash back. He didn't tell me that up front. Shouldn't have listened to him, cause he left out the details about cash vs store credit. They need to disclose return time frames more clearly

I usually have good experiences at this store but today I had an amazing experience. I usually do the surveys on the receipt but I guess that's no longer a thing.
I really wanted to leave positive feedback for Joe, he did a great job helping me out and was extremely friendly and cracking some solid humor even though I came in right at close. I am used to people being upset or cranky when I end up doing this (graveyard schedule can be rough for me to get things done) his professionalism and happy attitude to helping me out was very appreciated and I want other customers and gamestop employees to know how much I enjoyed Joe and his service tonight. Thanks again!!!

I haven't been into a gamestop in a while but I felt super welcomed into this store. There was an employee named Gus that was super knowledgeable and helped me find what I was looking for, he even had some good jokes! Gamestop, if you're reading this, give this man a raise ? Gus really helped me rekindle my love for brick and mortar stores! 10/10

DO NOT BUY NEW HEADSETS UNLESS YOU KNOW THEYRE EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT. Usually pretty happy with this shop and employees, BUT, bought a headset on an employees recommendation which turned out to have a known issue with the mic. I was offered a warranty in the event of it breaking, which I turned down, and then find out after asking about returns that the warranty would allow me to return this expensive garbage. I was NOT told this upon purchase. Now I have a headset to unload somewhere, what a waste. Shop online!

I am writing to request the cancellation of my GameStop Pro membership, with membership number #............
My request stems from the recent change regarding the acceptance of the $5 Pro monthly rewards on gift card purchases. As an active member, I have greatly appreciated the benefits and rewards that come with the GameStop Pro membership, including the $5 monthly reward. However, learning that this reward can no longer be used for gift card purchases has been disappointing and has significantly impacted my shopping experience with GameStop.
As a direct consequence of this change, I find myself reconsidering my loyalty to GameStop. I have been a loyal customer for a considerable amount of time, but this alteration in the rewards system has made me reassess the value of maintaining my Pro membership.
Given the circumstances, I kindly request the cancellation of my GameStop Pro membership effective immediately. I would appreciate it if you could confirm the cancellation and provide any necessary information regarding the process.
I want to emphasize that my decision to cancel my membership is not solely due to this recent policy change, but a reflection of my overall satisfaction with GameStop’s decline in services including practices from managers. they steal discounts and rewards from customers. (I was told he has done this many times.) And other rude and unprofessional behavior I have received from them. Behaviors I have reported in the past yet never get addressed, Leading me to believe that GameStop supports and encourages this treatment of its customers.

The game I wanted is $15 on the Xbox store and they wanted $30 for a pre-owned version... I hope they just go out of business already.

Went to the store 01-04 at 745 pm to buy a ps5 controller with my son , Kyle was extremely rude and had poor attitude , we were standing in front of him waiting for him to sell me the controller for 5 minutes and he completely ignored us, I ended up going to a different store to buy the controllers, one of my friends told me about his attitude and I didn’t want a believe him , but now I will never go to the store because him . Manager should have a conversation with him about his attitude! Thanks

Ever since GameStop announced it was restructuring their operations after going bankrupt, If I remember correctly. But ever since then, they've(GameStop) turned into a version of themselves that's not worth supporting anymore. This is my location for the last 20 years roughly. So I ABSOLUTELY know what's going on here. All sorts of things are different now and just feel either more difficult or more disappointing. From the lack of Games, they've taken away all the Used Games besides the current gen or used current gen. Then they've stocked their shelves with more Comic, Video Game or popular products like Funko POP! Figures. They have gotten better about trading in games when it comes to protecting the consumer and their own business. But at the same time, still offer the LOWEST amount for your Trade-In's. (advice; there's actually a considerable amount of Really Good Game stores in the surrounding SLC areas that will give you a better amount for your Trades. GameChangerz, Numbskull, Gamers Asylum, Minus World, Retro Game Vault, etc.) Then they demand the oddest things now when it comes to trading in Consoles. Having every single little string, tie, cord, cover, etc or they won't accept the Console. Very frustrating. They still have basic rules that help them prevent any faulty or fraudulent Consoles. But now have taken it to another extreme level. Then there's the Rewards Points system that used to be able to use on just about anything that GameStop sold. Now you can only used the points in store on a game that's already released and on their shelves. You now can't use the points for gift cards, or PS, Xbox, or Nintendo online purchases, or games. Unless you have redeemed your points for Online Only. But then you can only use those points for only the items offered on the GameStop website. And you can't bundle them, like if you had your $5 web coupon and you had a Redeemable Points coupon. Just dumb. These little things can make ppl want to come back. But corporate just doesn't care it seems now. And customer service. It feels like they're not trying anymore to please the customers. Now I do understand sometimes, simply because the customer has become an A-Hole. But I mean the whole thing to make you feel welcome, talk games, or experiences with the customers. Little things that make you feel like you're at home. Just not there now. Because of everything in general, I order games from either Online(Amazon, Best Buy, or Target) and Amazon if I need accessories, etc. And I only trade in at other Game Stores. I very rarely go inside GameStop locations now. But every time I do, I seem to have a bad experience. If GameStop is going to keep trying to survive, their CEO needs to get customer feedback, and go see these locations first hand. Maybe, just maybe they can turn around the in-store experience again.
