Copper ridge is a really amazing place with amazing staff. The nursing department takes their time and makes sure the patients get what they need. The therapy department works with the patients directly and individually depending on the patients needs and accommodates whatever is needed to make the recovery period faster and safer. The transportation department tries their hardest to take patients from and to doctor appointments and where ever is needed and their patients safety is their top priority. The dietary department accommodates all the diets and preferences to meet the patients needs and wants. Overall, I would highly recommend this facility because their management department is on top of everything and makes sure everything is done in the most efficient way for everyone.

I had my mother in law admitted to Copper Ridge and I couldn’t recommend it more. Jordan Valley recommended for us to continue her care here and the admissions process could not have been smoother. Lindsay was the one who helped get my MIL admitted and the care and support she puts into making sure each of your individual concerns get addressed and makes sure you’re absolutely prepared for what’s to come. Injury to any family member can be so sudden and throw you for a loop and the reassurance that Lindsay provides through the process is so appreciated for in stressful times. My MIL really appreciated her stay here and we are so grateful for the progress she made. Can’t give enough thanks to the entire therapy department. The nurses are dedicated and made sure she was well taken care of. We especially appreciate Lauren and Helen. The continued support and care that the staff really made a difference in her recovery.Copper Ridge has definitely left a lovely impression on our hearts.

There are some lovely people who work hard at this facility, but overall I'd say they are trying to be sneaky about how they handle their rehab care at Copper Ridge. Do your research and don't let a hospital- especially Jordan Valley in an emergency- pressure you into going here.First, I understand no individual is going to fall into the same care category and wish they did too. We had some special circumstances and it seemed that unless we were actively present in the building the communication was horrible. They were supposed to have weekly care meetings and in the 5 weeks our loved one was there we had 2. I had to beg to get the few emails that I did and still never received some things in writing that I asked for.In the time my dad was there was there I didn't speak to the PA once. They avoided bathing and basic hygiene routines. His hair was never cleaned and they never bothered to bring him his tooth brush from the bathroom. He was not able to get there on his own and not cabable of asking for it. I had to make signs to remind staff about hearing aids. They dumped him at appts before being sure that family was there and without any pain meds to get him through 2-3 hour appts. Planning in general for anything was abrupt and at their whim. They never answer their phones and "forgot" about all the things I asked for in writing... especially the insurance info in writing. Then, when things weren't working to THEIR standards they stated insurance wouldn't cover him and asked if he we wanted to have medicaid pay to keep him there long term. Ironically, the same insurance information they came to me and told me I had a copay for when he was double insured.Something else tk note: While I was there I tried working outside in their courtyard and couldn't because all the residents were outside smoking. There were cigarette ash/butts everywhere as well as the small area was so uncomfortable to sit. No matter where I sat, I breathed the smoke from the smokers. I don't think that would be a place to put my dad if he wanted to go outside and enjoy some sunshine. I know I didn't enjoy it out there at all. The pictures are misleading on their website.Be very careful here. They are used to doing things one way and one way only. They like their happy little path of people of who fit their 4 week rehab mold or who will stay long term on medicaid. They do not like extreme cases or patients who have extensive issues. They are also in bed with Jordan Valley Hospital who will immediately send you there and pretend like out of all the other options out there this is the best. This means you can't choose your follow up care or see your usual specialists. They make all your apps st Jordan Valley even if you have someone else you see already.Once we moved my dad I was surprised to see what options were out there and that other places with put mini fridges INSIDE patient rooms. They have tables and chairs so that we can have our conference calls in his room. Visitors dont just have to stand around. He can watch more than basic cable.

My Vietnam Veteran was sent here from the VA after being Septic. He needed Physical Therapy and time to recover. What a great Rehab Staff ! Lauren & Greg in OT really made a difference in his life. Micah in speech and memory work were so kind and considerate. The nursing staff were mostly wonderful. I can't say enough about their good care Brian, & Helen. The discharge planning on 08/30/2023 was nonexistent . We were notified on 8/24 of the pending date and the staff seemed to not know it was discharge time. The facility was clean. His room was clean and the maintenance worker was very responsive when needed. I never smelled anything disturbing. My husband thought the food was great. I would go back for care again.

I came here for a clinical as a step to getting a certification I need. I was here for only 8 hours and it was truly heartbreaking to me to be here. The staff are careless and rude. Not to mention how they treat their residents. On multiple accounts I overheard many CNA’s and nurses talking poorly about their residents while in close enough proximity to them to where they could likely hear them. (Not medical at all. More like name calling and things of that nature.) While I had been at this facility there was a severe COVID outbreak, they did not take proper precautions and were quite careless, not washing hands, changing gowns or gloves and just flat out not having safety in mind. The residents were very neglected and multiple times when entering a room offering help they had dirty dishes that were failed to be collected from days prior as well as being in very small shared rooms with little to no privacy. They were very unprofessional and it was really disappointing to be there to learn and leaving feeling as if I knew more about precautions and hospitality then they did. Aside from this, there were a few very kind, hard working, and outgoing employees that I highly recommend getting to know if you happen to be there. José, Alexia, and Summer were amazing at their jobs and really (in my opinion) deserve a better place of work. From a point of view of someone “working” there I suggest finding a cleaner, kinder facility that will put the residents first as well as doing things in their best interest. Just keep in mind before going to this facility that they DO NOT keep safety measures and do not treat their residents good at all. I’d recommend anywhere but here.

I’ve only been here a few days but so far I’ve had a wonderful experience. The smiling faces and kindnesses are everywhere! The food is excellent and the facility is beautiful . If I could I would finish out my days here!

They had made the decision of getting surgery done on my grandma's eyes without asking or saying anything to the family. Not a call, no message, nothing. We are moving her as soon as we can. Not to mention they fraudulently took over her account, then when confronted they wanted us to sign papers and act like it never happened. This place is unorganized and out of control. Please avoid this place.

My grandma was here for a short time. I'm in California, so I can't say how her care was except she is much happier in her new place. My issue is when I called grandma last week, I accidentally called copper ridge and not her new place. Copper Ridge told me I couldn't speak to her because I am not on the "list." Why would they say that? Are they purposefully trying to cause trouble in families? Why not tell me, she isn't here anymore! I can say I'm thrilled grandma isn't at this place anymore.

If you’re looking to place your loved one somewhere with poor communication between staff, departments, and you, this is the place. They can’t even track down a table so the resident has a place to put their meal, so when they lose all of their clothing or remove all their teeth without talking to any family members, it should come as no surprise. If complete incompetence is the flavor you’re looking for in the care of your most important family members, nowhere can come close to this place. The CNAs are all very nice, but they can only do so much when it’s clear that the inadequacy trickles down from the top. Get more employees, pay them better, get a better operating system so all the residents info is in one easy place, put new communication protocols in place. Idfk but you are responsible for HUMAN LIVES. Do better.

My Dad didn't get a shower after being there 4 days. I had to tell the nurse and he still didn't get one until the next day.

My grandmother was sent here after being hospitalized for a blood clot in her lungs. She didn’t have a POA at the time and chose the place herself, which was so unfortunate. She was left unattended momentarily and fell flat on her face, with terrible bruising (also inflicted by meds). She also got covid-19 from staff. There were several other issues but because the director of the building addressed our concerns immediately, so I will give 2 stars for the one person who actually cares, unfortunately that person isn’t directly caring for patients or working from them. The rest of her health has been a domino effect since being there, I do NOT recommend.

The worst facility available do not take your loved ones there they will neglect them and screw you so you can't move them. The most incompetent administration I've seen and they are unlocking the memory care unit and as neglectful as they are I am afraid one of the patients will walk out and end up dead
