This is a good SLCC campus. It's a decent size. It's not overly crowded so it's not too difficult to find a parking spot. I was in the Medical Assistant Program here. I met a lot of friends here. They do need more food options. We would go get food in between classes around lunchtime and all the food places would be closed.

Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) is a great school for anyone looking to start college, learn a trade, or continue their education. For college freshman going to SLCC to complete general education requirements makes a lot of sense: lower cost tuition and smaller classes. All credits earned at SLCC will transfer to any other school in Utah so many students use SLCC as a springboard to go to other schools to complete a Bachelor's degree. That's what I did. I earned an Associates Degree in General Studies at SLCC and then finished my Bachelor's degree at Utah Valley University. I always had great teachers at SLCC who loved to teach, appreciated the smaller class sizes, and felt like I learned more than I would have at a bigger school. SLCC (pronounced "slick") is great. When I went to this campus of Salt Lake Community College years ago it was very small, only two or three buildings and felt very much like being back in high school. Many of the students were fresh out of high school and the smaller hallways and classrooms had that high school feel to me. I don't know if that's changed in the years that have followed, but that's how it was for me. Regardless of that high school feel I really liked this campus. The classrooms were all brand new and very nice. The teaches I had were great and the classes were a lot of fun. The campus being smaller also didn't have a lot of students, so class sizes were pretty small, usually 25 or less. SLCC cares about education and is a great way to complete your first two years of college or learn a trade.

I like this campus because it's the perfect size. Redwood campus is huge, but has a better lunch selection.
