They are the best guys I know working on diesels by far! Jim is one of my favorite guys here and is is so knowledgeable, and answers every question I have about my truck. He has helped me install my exhaust and really nice to talk to. 100% recommend going to Bakers for your truck needs and definitely ask for Jim because he’s your guy!!

I took 4 injectors to get cleaned and get new o-rings put on. I point blank asked the tech if he was going to do the o-rings and copper washers, to which he replied "yes".
After paying $150, very steep, and waiting a week I picked them up and installed them.
After starting the vehicle, it was idling weird so I took them out. Found out the o-ring had broken and the copper washer fell off one of the injector. Underneath was disgusting, definitely did not get cleaned. So, I emailed to inform and ask what had happened.
Jayson Baker replied and basically told me all they do is run it through the machine, and "Hope you got it figured out". I replied about the washers and o-rings and he said "We don't stock those parts". I also told him about the tech telling me to my face he was going to, and he just flat out never replied again.
If you are going here to get injectors cleaned, go litererally anywhere else. Terrible owners, lie to customers, and over charge immensely.

Everything good and positive that you will read in other reviews about superior quality, honest and straightforward service is most certainly true. Jim just finished putting all new injectors and glow plugs in my 2010 2500HD Duramax. I had a limp mode (reduced engine power) issue that started around 160,000 miles on the truck when pulling my fifth wheel. Jim knew exactly what tests to run to diagnose this common problem with the Duramax. His knowledge and willingness to explain all the details to me was very reassuring that I had found the right place and the right guy.
Well worth the drive from Idaho!

Baker diesel is now my go to diesel shop! I was quoted over 6000$ to repair my truck from a different shop! I called and talked to him over the phone, gave him the codes and what the truck was doing. He fit me into the schedule and got my truck fixed for 400$. Jim was very informative on what happened and how to fix it! Thanks for being a honest and fair shop!

Very impressed with this shop. I can see why they're busy and customers line up to get service done. I had an issue with my Duramax passing emissions and Jim told me exactly what to do. He told me that they couldn't fit me in, but got me contacted with someone who could help. Big shout out to Jim, I appreciate him taking the time to do that. I will be back here for sure when my LBZ needs work. 6/5 Stars!

If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would! These guys are knowledgeable and always willing to provide assistance over the phone. Jim is incredible and we appreciate all the work he has provided on my 06 duramax! I won't let anyone else touch my truck except for bakers!! Thank you guys a bunch for your honesty and knowledge! It does not go unnoticed!!

Just bought an 04’ duramax. These guys did a full inspection oil change and filter Change. This is not what they do. They let me know it might be tough to get on the schedule but they worked with me and got it done. Made me feel great about my purchase. Great people willing to help if they have the extra time! I took a truck in to get it worked on. Clearly they didn't want to do the piston repair. They quoted me around $20,000. This is not embellished at all.They could have told me that they didn't want to touch it.I took it elsewhere after a $250 diagnosis fee. It was repaired for under $3000. Makes me wonder if they upcharge others as well. Don't waste your time or money.

I'm very impressed by the customer service and the willingness to help me with my truck. I didn't even take my truck in, I called to see if they can guide me with a problem I couldn't figure out. They had me speak with a guy named Jim because he is familiar with duramax and he was the guy I needed help from. He was able to tell me what I did wrong and what I need to do to correct it. I spoke with him several times on the phone over a few days while fixing my truck and he was always so happy to help every time. Thank you Jim and bakers diesel with helping me all over the phone. I did get my erg cooler bypass valve replaced and got my truck back on the road. It wasn't easy and you told me it wouldn't but I did it! Thank you so much!

Got a southbend dual disk clutch. Had some squeaking going on with it after a little and Jason got with southbend and his team and got it taken care of no charge. Very happy !
