My mother brought in an self addressed envelope from one of her creditors that had been returned because the address supposedly didn't exist. The mole-faced wench behind the counter was verry rude. When the postal worker next to mole-face mentioned that they might want to look into the mater she told my mom that looking in the direction of the other postal worker wasn't going to change her response in any way. I am apauled with the rude attitudes in this office. I've been treated poorly here about 50 percent of my visits.

I probably should have seen the reviews before coming here, but how could any one post office be worse than another? Well today, I found out, as I came in to mail 4 letters and see how much postage I would need to do so. The guy behind the counter told me each one would have to be an additional 44 cents because of a brass fastener holding each one together. "Alright, how many stamps would I-" I began, not worried about the postage. I had wanted to get some extra stamps anyway, and had planned on getting extra. Before I could finish, however, the man cut back in. "Or I could rip these off and save you some money." "No, that's alright." I replied, again, not really worried about the price for an extra stamp or two on each of the four letters. I had planned on needing extra anyway, to ensure that the gift I had enclosed in one for my daughter would be mailed without trouble.Rather than reply, I watched in a bit of shock as the man proceeded to tear a fastener off of the once-sealed envelope. As he did so, he commented, "Usually they come right off." By the time he had finished, the envelope looked as though it wouldn't survive being mailed. The glue which had supported the seal hadn't been strong to begin with, and was now featuring a shredded center. If I had a letter sent to me in this condition, I would assume that someone had ripped it open and tampered with it. At this point, he went on to the next letter, and began removing it's seal. I asked "Actually, I wanted those on..." and realized my voice had come out as a croak, likely due to my social anxiety which was now making my hands shake. I hate being confrontational, and the fact that this man had blatantly disregarded my request had me mixed between wanting to punch him in the face, and wanting to rip the letters away from him. Forcing down my fight or flight response, however, I spoke again, this time in a more confident fashion, using my anger and fear to bolster my confidence rather than allowing it to wallow into a seething rage. "No, nevermind, I want those letters back." "Oh, I was just trying to save you some money. Did you not want these removed?" "No, I didn't." Was my reply, holding back the comments of "That's why I specifically asked for extra postage." And "That's why I specifically said No." Handing back my letters, I finally let flight take hold, and half-stormed, half-ran out of the building.I would have given this an average rating, as with age I've gotten used to people disregarding what is asked of them and moving more like robots on a subroutine than actual people having a conversation, but then I realized: Average would have been just dropping off the mail, paying for postage, and leaving. What happened instead was that I now have to get two new envelopes for these letters, and drive somewhere else to mail them. It's for the best, however, as the place I do go to clearly wants the extra $5 for the stamps. In fact, I'll probably get some more envelopes there, too, as now I not only need them, but honestly feel like a business that can actually fulfill a customer's request, in this day and age, deserves the added patronage, no matter how small. This post office has just shown me that they do not want my money, and can't even fulfill a simple request. This isn't a "pup cup at McDonald's" scenario, I didn't ask for anything they don't "supposedly" do normally, I in fact wanted to choose the transaction that would cost me more, and instead I had my mail tampered with in direct opposition to my request. An odd excursion, but a learning experience, nonetheless. If you go here, please don't choose a path of violence. But don't sit there and let the employee make decisions for you, either. I'd recommend just going elsewhere, my recommendation will be listed in an edit after I've had a chance to head out, again.

I ordered two plumbing parts from the same company. One was delivered just fine. The other was first marked delivered then three days later labeled as "Addressee Unknown" and subsequently assigned as dead mail and disposed of. What? Not returned to the sender? This makes no sense. Why would they do this?

I went to the post office in Washington City Utah today. The man at the front counter (Rudy) who is helping all the customer is extremely rude. Literally speaking in almost a yelling voice and sounds very degrading towards the customers. I have never been to a post office and felt like I did watching him be so rude to every single person including me. This man need to find another job or at least have some lessons in customer service. Being at the front counter is not where he belongs. On a scale of 1-10 I would give him a -10 and that goes for the management also for allowing him to be at that position!!

I had a bad review based on my package being "disposed of" but after I filled a report the Postmaster Rob reached out to me and was able to find and hold my package. He was very friendly and professional and it didn't take long for him to get back to me after hearing me out. I'm changing my review because Rob was able to change my position with these folk.

The people who work there are equal parts miserable and unhelpful in any way. Drive the extra bit and go to a different location.

This is the worst post office I've experienced in my lifetime! I surmise that the reason it is so bad is because the city has unprecedented growth over the last 5 years and the city council/government has done nothing to expand the post office to accommodate the extra traffic. We've had several days where there's been no delivery or pickup on regular working days. When I call to find our what's going on, they don't even answer the phone. Very sad and frustrating to have to deal with this when you're trying to run a business.

I don’t get their problem with delivering packages. This is the 6th package they mark undeliverable. The address is correct yet they mark the package undeliverable and they ship it back. I have party supplies for my daughters birthday in a week!! I am filing a complaint, this is wrong on so many levels. They have become so lazy and inconsiderate. Quit your job if it’s too hard!!

USPS needs to see these reviews and start hiring people who know how to work in customer service. I have truly never been more frustrated than when dealing with this post office:)
