Great customer service and clean store. Shopping associate took me right to the item I was looking for and was very pleasant! The store was clean and uncluttered and checkout was a breeze. Thank you Walmart!

We have visited the Vernal store over 150 times in the past year with our small dog in a covered stroller with ZERO problems.
Yesterday that came to an end, the greeter told us that we are not allowed to bring him into the store.
It takes us a half hour drive one way to get to Vernal, that is a full hour drive round trip and $15 gas.
From now on we will just do our shopping in Roosevelt leaving our dog at home, total time away from home is less than 20 minutes.
The extra cost for groceries in Roosevelt will be offset by $30 weekly gas savings and over 5200 less miles on the vehicle a year!

I hate Walmart because employees purposely avoid helping you and cashiers barely say hello. Today was a different experience with our cashier. Wilfredo was the kindest, friendliest employee I have met in Walmart in a long time. He is a great example of how a little kindness can brighten anyone’s day. When I return I will look for Wilfredo to check me out and would be willing to wait in line. There’s a couple employees that have been working there 15+ years that are great when I happen to be in their respective departments.

A lot of vacationing people visit this location as well as locals. The stores is always clean, the employees pleasant, and you can check out quickly. One of the best things about this location is that they have a15 items or less self checkout, BUT they also have a self checkout for unlimited items. I LOVE this about the Vernal Walmart. I live in Layton during the week for work and noticed that the conveniences I enjoy in Vernal are not available at the Layton location. If I can wait to get an item until the weekend when I’m home in the Uintah Basin, I’ll go to the Vernal Walmart. I like the Vernal location also because I generally see happy employees here. Sometimes people are having a bad day(any business), but at the Vernal Walmart I see more happy employees.
