Mountain America SUCKS
Would not use them ever again
1. Very unprofessional ( we noticed you had trouble with your account but didn’t call you)
2. Blocked my account from ME!( no access)
3. Said they would “ fix” the issue and they haven’t.
4. Took a verified check that cleared and deposited into the account out! And said “ it’s on hold”

Customer service agents and bank branch customer service agents must be aligned. Driving to a branch only to be told that they needed to call another department for a printed letter was frustrating. MACU, we can do better.

Went in with my roommate so he could sign some time-sensitive documents due to some fraudulent activity with an auto loan on the back end. He was told it was time-sensitive and to come in ASAP to sign some paperwork. We walked in and the location was packed. A stout Hispanic man walked up from His desk and we asked if he knew where the lady was who told us to come in and ask for her. He cut us off and said it was busy he was with a customer and that she was working the drive-thru window. He told us to go to the bank of the 14-person line just to ask for her. We explained it was for a fraud case and he proceeded to walk to the back right past her and couldn't take 2 seconds to notify her we were there. He then came back through past her yet again and ignored us when we tried to speak to him. The rest of the staff were great and super helpful. This guy was a flat-out jerk.

Everyone on staff are helpful and so respectful. I get treated like I person, like I matter. They always greet me and the service is unbelievable. I like the bank overall. All the branches I attend are always Always kind

Teller 1471 couldn’t help & caused a colossal waste of time. I was trying to open a few CD’s and I had a check for all the funds I wanted to deposit. She told me I couldn’t open an account without the funds, but I couldn’t pay a check because there would be a 2 day hold. So they couldn’t open the account. But I had to come back in 2 days?!! I went to my other bank which couldn’t make sense of my experience with MACU. Went to the MACU branch in West Jordan and had zero issues opening a CD right there and then!
