DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Never has card stock in stock I had ordered online about 5 packs and kept getting canceled they said they had none in stock but it clearly said they were in stock I finally made it into the store and they lady justified them self’s with saying they were probably in the back because they hadn’t gotten to unboxing from shipment they had gotten 3 days previous. I have run into this problem not 1,2 or even 3 times it’s been a total of 6 different occasions. Disappointing because this is so close to me.

My cashier was literally the sweetest lady and I can't thank her enough!!!
The man who was absolutely abhorrent to me and my friends literally needs to be fired. He immediately came to us saying the store was closed and we apologized as we didn't know and he said, "well the doors were locked". We told him no it was open. He then said, "well there was announcements". We told him there wasn't anything the past 10 min we had been there. he said, "well you should have seen it on our doors" we said no sorry we didn't look at the door before coming in. He then walked right to the phone to announce that the store had been closed for awhile now glaring at us. There was no reason to do that and I feel like he discriminated against myself and my friends for being people of color and women.
Literally the rudest man who wanted to be right more then actually help the situation. He needs immediate training if not fired. I will be telling everyone to not come to joanns if you see this horrible man.

Unfortunately, you can tell the store is going bankrupt. Couldn't find anything I went for.

Don't know if they are closing. Lots of things on sale and not a lot of choices. Hit good price on yarn.

I went one day to get some oil paints and they were locked up. There was a button you can push to signify you needed assistance. I pushed the button then waited maybe 5 min then pushed it again. I did this multiple times for maybe 15-20 min and then I went to find someone and they said they will have someone go over and assist me…. It never happened.
Another time I went with my wife to stock up on some yarn. There was a pretty good sale for yarn going on so the shelves were pretty much empty. They did have the boxes of yarn to restock the shelves on the top shelf. I’m a pretty tall dude so there was no issue with me reaching a box and seeing if what we needed was inside. I understand me doing this was wrong. But then an associate that saw me doing this just came over and just stared at me looking in these boxes. When I noticed him just mean mugging me for looking in the boxes, I just laughed a little and said “I’m probably not suppose to get those boxes right”? He said no I’m not because if a box falls and I get hurt they need to pay for it.
I understand where he was coming from. But if instead of taking a couple minutes to get some of these boxes down and restock he just walked away. When I asked another associate if I can get some help with getting some yarn out of the boxes (because the other associate was gone before I could ask) they said they will find someone to assist. I waited maybe 20 min and nobody ever showed up to help.

This store is run poorly. I have placed 3 orders for curbside pick up, all 3 times they have canceled most of the order due to inventory inaccuracies. Then, when you go in to pick up your order, it is a long wait behind at least 5 shoppers as the cashier is overwhelmed and unable to even say hello or call another staff member for help.
It's sad, I used to enjoy shopping here but I will now be looking elsewhere. When in the store, it is trashed and they closed the bathrooms to shoppers. People with disabilities, who need a bathroom are being discriminated against. Hence, why I had to resort to the online pick up method, that is clearly to much for the staff to handle.

Just watched someone at the cutting table named Daniel berate the poor kid helping him at the cutting table then walk away instead of helping with the line. It was very awkward standing there watching this. Also, whoever is in the sewing machine area would rather talk on her phone about their plans then help people find a bobbin case for a sewing machine (which are behind her desk). I didn’t know the exact model number which one I needed, but there was only one option, soooo… why would you hold it hostage instead of letting me decide….? I am not the best seamstress but continually trying to get better, but having very unhelpful and rude people at a the fabric store is very discouraging….

They stack coupons as long as the coupons are different! 10/10 also my brother ran to Joanns to get me something I needed for a class as I couldn't made it there due to the snow. We were on a video chat and the cashier asked him if he had coupons, he said no, and she applied one for him without thinking twice! What was a 24$ ruler originally turned into a 9$ ruler. Yay!

Joann is hardly even a fabric store. They have fleece and flannel and some cottons. The fabric is not listed by type but by what they think you can use it for, like sports wear. The patterns are way out of order. I drove across town to see if I could find my needs there. The shelves are pretty much empty. They don't have enough employees. If you find something online and go to the store to get it, you won't find it. Frustrating. Whatever happened to real fabric stores?
