Do not go to this location! I used to love it & stopped by today. I started in drive-thru. Only one lane was open & the car in front of me took 15 minutes. I would have left before then but there was another car behind me so I was blocked in because there's concrete on the ground between lanes. My transaction took 5 minutes. I pulled up enough to count my withdrawal & it was the wrong amount. It was short, even though the receipt was right. I had to park & go inside, hoping to not spend another 20 minutes in drive-thru. Unfortunately, there was a good sized line so I waited another 15 minutes. The drive-thru teller chimed in that she knew she made a mistake & wanted me to fill out an additional withdrawal form but I pointed out the receipt already showed the full amount had been withdrawn. I just wasn't given that amount. She'd done other things on the account. I had to fill out more paperwork. I showed my ID 3 times, filled out 2 withdrawal forms, & wasted 35 minutes just to do a simple withdrawal, which I've never had as problem with in 20 years. Lesson learned-I will never come back to this location.

I went in to get change for $100 bill and was greeted right away. The lady at the desk was very kind and helped me within seconds. Good customer service

I had fraudulent charges on my account which I reported, did not hear anything back from the fraud department. Everything seemed to be squared away, even went to the extent of opening another account with chase. Then I was trying to move funds from one account to the other. Their system had an error so I tried to do the transfer several times.. now my account is restricted, and they refused to give me my money that I've worked for! I have called customer service probably over 20 times to try to retrieve my money, and I am being told I cannot have my money! Please be careful when banking here because they will take your hard-earned money without any explanation other than your account is being reviewed. If you want to not have access to your money randomly and not be able to pay your car payment or feed your kids bank here!

Simply incompetent. They didn't know how to send write transfers and cost me $10,800 on my taxes because they screwed up my wire to an investment account. Not a single sorry, just smirky responses. I'm tired of people at this bank, they never have people there to help and when they do, they're incompetent.

Today was my fourth attempt to meet with a banker. One time we went in they said we didn’t have an appointment, even after we showed the text reminders we had gotten. Another time it was cancelled due to a family emergency on the teller’s end, but at least we got a phone call letting us know. Today (after getting multiple text reminders again) we showed up to find the branch is “temporarily closed.” That’s fine, but why did no one let us know? There were multiple other people in the parking lot showing up for appointments as well. Very frustrating. We’re going to try another branch, hopefully it goes better.
Update: We went to the Murray branch at 6255 S State St and had a MUCH better experience. Go there instead!

Hi Asalia, today I had a horrible experience at the Layton, UT Branch. Today I went in to cash my once a month check and it was the worst experience I have ever had with any bank since I was 20 years old. I stood in line with Scott, 64, for over 20 minutes as it is now hard for me to get around and he was gracious enough to take me. The cashier went in the back with my check and ID and came back out with my cash several times with my cash in her hand, in and out!!! Then she finally came back out, total of another 20 minutes and asked me "What are you going to do wit h this money as it is a large amt"? That put us both over the edge. The manager just sat in her office and would not even talk to us as she may have been the one to cause the problem. Scott thinks I should quit Chase as I won't go back to that branch for sure. Quite a change from the way I was treated in Taylorsville or any other Chase branch for that matter. the 5 stars are for you, I had to give Layton one star in order to post their review, they deserved none, Hope all is good with you and yours, your friend, JO PS: She wasn't even going to count out my money to me, she brought it back in a sealed envelope with my ID and handed it me. I had to ask her to count it out!!!

If every Chase was like this I wouldn't trust my money with them. For the size of the bank they have a tiny space for tellers and a massive unused space that is taken up by dark offices that no one seems to work out of. They appear to be a busy location, but never have enough people working to actually get things done. Spent the remaining minutes of my lunch hour here to just stand in line before it became clear nothing was moving. Now I'm going to have to go to another branch before they close - more time away from my business - just to get my banking done.

A very rude young male teller has a horrible attitude and makes rude/disrespectful remarks to seniors for no apparent reason. Be better.
