I called in to schedule my 11 year old cat for a dental. I paid the $75 deposit to hold the appointment (not refundable within 24 hours), and verified the cost of the dental as $175 plus the possible extraction and medication costs. Leap forward a few weeks, and I get the confirmation call the day before the appointment. Again, I have them verify the cost of the appointment, AND I had them email me roughly what I will owe at the end because I did NOT want to be surprised with a massive bill the day of the appointment. This quote was about the same as the first, with only slight differences in the extraction costs. That is understandable. I get my cat loaded up and to the office for their 8 am drop off. As they check me in, they say, "For blood work and dental". Come to find out, they will not even do the dental on older cats without blood work. We have seen this vet before (never for a dental though), and they knew the age of my cat as I spoke with them on the phone. They NEVER mentioned blood work in either phone call or emailed estimate. For the blood work it would be an ADDITIONAL $200! So much for not being surprised with a huge bill. $200 is a weeks worth of groceries for my family of 5! After coming back down from my near head explosion, they tell me that only one portion of the blood work is absolutely necessary for the dental to proceed, and that portion is only $100. Because I would have lost the deposit if I left, I proceeded with the appointment. My cat is great, and they did a great job, but I no longer trust any cost estimate they give me. I expressed several times in the phone calls how I wanted the TOTAL of everything so I know what to expect, and several times they reassured me it would be no more than $260 in the worst case scenario. So, if you still choose to use this vet office, be very prepared to pay well over whatever estimate they give you, because they will rope you with extra services. The reason I am giving this place three stars and not lower:The staff was friendly and they answered the phone when I called each time. Unfriendly staff who did not answer the phone was an issue with this office in the past, but it seems like that has changed. I also feel like my animals are treated well, and it was shockingly easy to get him an appointment. In the past their wait times were 1-4 months out. Maybe I just got lucky, but it is worth something.

This vet lies about prices be very careful. I would record the visit or the interaction with the front desk gals. When the appointment was over the gal told me it was going to be $241.00 I have proof of the amount because I had txted my husband about the price. Sadly we didn’t have the full amount so I paid for the visit and not the medications. The gal told me it was going to be 241.00 for the total I paid 77.63 for just the office visit I called back today to get the medications ready and asked how much it would be and I’m assuming it was a technician that told me it was going to be 200.00 for 3 medications. When I told her that the day of my appointment i was originally going to pay 241.00 for everything but only paid 77.63 how does 200.00 add up now. She tried to give some weird excuse and just didn’t seem fit. Shows some true colors of this practice.

So today I took my Mini Golden Doodle in for his 3rd round of shots, on his health record chart ourselves and the breeder clearly noted which vaccines to get for him. I gave the card to the vet assistant, they looked at it what we had highlighted and asked if the breeder had highlighted which vaccines he needed and I said yes. They take him back told me to stay put and 5 min later they bring him back out and told me which vaccines they had given him along with his chart and talked about what needs to be done in 4 weeks. Since I gave them the chart, I didn’t think to look at what they vaccines they had marked off because I trusted what we had highlighted. It wasn’t until my wife got home and looked at it that they gave him the coronavirus vaccine!!!! And mind you when they brought him out they chose not to tell me they gave him the Coronavirus vaccine when I was there. And even if I did see that they gave him the Covid vaccine it was done and I couldn’t do anything about it anyways! Also we noticed there was another vaccine they gave him we didn’t want or asked for. I haven’t researched the last one but the point is they gave my dog the coronavirus vaccine without us asking for it and never told me when it was done just marked it off. And No coronavirus vaccines are not mandatory in dogs!! Not happy!!!

AVOID AT ALL COST OR RECORD ALL CONVERSATIONSBrought our dogs here trying to find somewhere closer to our new home. We were normally going to Hillside Vet in salt lake who we 20/10 recommend. We came in 5 months ago because we thought our German Shepherds shoulder/wrist might be bothering him. The doc and I moved his wrist shoulder and joints around and none of it seemed to be bothering him at the time and he said we should just monitor it and if it continued to be an issue to bring him back in to get X rays. Also recommended doing it while we got a teeth cleaning done to make it so they could put him under while doing the X ray save us some money. If only that was the case.Fast forward 5 months we have realized that it is one of his hips that seem to be bothering him especially after I tried to move it around and he was not happy about it. So we called in said can we schedule a teeth cleaning and while were at it could you X ray his back legs specifically his hips seem to be what is bothering him. Got an appt set and week and a half later take him in. The front counter person was busy trying to deal with an aggressive dog and told my girlfriend to just sign the paper and they would get him taken care of. Should she have read the paper to double check everything was correct, yes would've been smart except they list in medical term for it and the clerk didnt bother to double check that was for sure what we needed done either.Get a call after drop off saying that his front legs look all good obviously were confused cause we specifically said hips and explained in length that his hips are what were bothering him. Well that was all "hear say" cause we couldnt prove that we said that and they were basing the X ray off the medical records from 5 months ago rather than double checking and confirming that it was that or if we did mean to say hips so we ended up paying almost $650 for teeth cleanings today. No wiggle room of us coming back and even paying half or paying for one or the other just straight well you cant prove you said hips so here is your bill.So if you are wanting to still go here make sure that when you call you record the conversation so that you can confirm your "story" also make sure you confirm what you are wanting done at drop off and brush up on medical terminology before your done.

They don’t have time to take care of your pet, some of the receptionists are mean and condescending. You’ll have better luck in SLC trying to find a vet that will actually have time to take care of your pet. At best, they’re only good at grooming and cleaning. And even that takes weeks to get in sometimes. When you need them the most, they won’t be there for you and your pet.

I noticed blood in my cat’s urine, so I called this Vet to see what I should do. They told me that I need to collect a urine sample myself, by catching it in a container and that I could drop off the sample for them to analyze. They said this is easier than scheduling an appointment a month out.My cat is potty shy, so through several days it was hard for me to get her sample. I finally bring the sample to them, where they THEN tell me that I needed to keep it in the fridge and that the sample had been out for too long, and that I should try again with a more recent sample.Another WEEK goes by, because of my schedule I can’t watch my cat use the bathroom all of the time, so I finally get a SECOND sample after buying special litter and a collecting kit. I bring it to the vet again, but this time they tell me that they “can’t analyze cat urine from a different container and it has to be from the cat directly” so I would need to schedule an APPOINTMENT to bring her in.All of this wasted effort when I could’ve scheduled an appointment from the beginning, and my cat has been in pain for almost a month now. They recommended me to same-day urgent care clinics for her, but I’m so mad that they kept telling me different things every time I came back.I don’t know who gave me wrong advice TWICE, but because of their mistakes, my cat has been in pain for much longer and I will be spending a lot more money at an urgent care. I’m sure they could’ve treated my cat well if they hadn’t been careless with their advice to me.

Doctor wasn't in at 10am. Don't call yourself a hospital if your can't help animals in emergency situations.

I recently had to put my very old dog to rest. I have had him 17 years and he is my fur baby. It was EXTREMELY expensive however, we did have cheaper options available. They were very kind to us through the process and handled my baby with care. Worst experience of my life, having to put my dog down, but they were not attributing to that. They did the best they could in the situation we were in and took their time with him, explaining everything to us and answering any questions that we had. They were fast and out allowing us to take the time we wanted with my baby.

I have been a regular at Chicken Express for 30 plus years. I love the people that run it as much as the delicious food! My kids, grandkids, and I drive out of our way regularly to enjoy their unique offerings.

I absolutely love Dr. RYAN Roundy!! He is a great vet. Very gentle and caring with my dog. Even when he is busy he asks if you have any questions and fully explains things. You leave there knowing he genuinely cares.

If I could give negative stars I would. So, I Started coming to this office like a month or so ago and each of my dogs have only been in once. And This office while in some aspects is better than the other clinics in town is very different to work with.I tried to get written prescriptions for my dog and they told me it was going to be $50 each so I told them not to write them because i dont have the money... (Which honestly they shouldn't be charging that much for per perception. My dog has 4 prescriptions so it would have cost me $200 for them...)And then a couple days ago I asked them to write them for me because i need her meds refilled... And when I called the doctor was out for the day already so they needed to speak with him the next day and they called me this morning and told me that since I never picked up the written prescriptions when I asked for them the first time (which I never told them to write by the way) that they no longer can write me any written prescriptions. And then they said because I have left bad reviews (because of the prices of the written prescriptions) that they are firing me as a client...Don't support this clinic or the Tooele vet either... They are both run by Roundy's... (This hospital is owned by Roundy Jr. Tooele vet is owned by Roundy Sr.)

Super friendly staff. The clinic was clean and well organized. They treated my dog as if she were there dog.
