This is an actual experience with Stephen Wade Toyota of St George, UT.They add thousands of dollars of expensive "stickers" as markup that you need to clean off the vehicle as well extra lower grade floor mats which you can't resell if you don't want. Their sales ask for personal information such as a background check requiring your SS to see if you're a foreign terrorist (news flash, foreign terrorists don't have US social security numbers). All as a lame excuse to run credit even if you're paying in full. It's annoying and a waste of time. Just charge the markup and be up front. If corporate won't let you, then don't.

Laughable at best, words I can't use on this site at worst. Why I keep going to SW stealerships is beyond me. I guess I'm a masochist. Was looking for a cheaper used car to get around town. Not going anywhere out of town, not driving it across country, it would be only be in Washington county. Overpriced junk is what they sell and taking 100 bucks off a 20k car you had on the lot for almost 2 months isn't going to make you a sale. I know most people don't know about the ins and outs of what it takes to be a car dealership, but the way they treat their used vehicles (let's not get started on their idiotic use of "market adjustments" on new cars) like they're gold, makes me wish I could see what their floor plan numbers are. I really do hope that stealerships like this that over-inflate car values sink and go out of business. I know the person I talked to is already gone so their turnover rate is atrocious just like their business practices. Thankfully I was able to find a great deal on a tip top car from FB marketplace that probably would have been double at this dump and that's before all the BS fees they tack on everything. REALLY. IF THIS DOESN'T MAKE YOU WANT TO RUN FROM SW STEALERSHIPS, NOTHING WILL. FIND WHAT YOU LIKE HERE THEN GO TO VEGAS, PHOENIX, OR SLC AND BUY IT THERE.

Wanted to get a JLU Wrangler since we need more room than we have with our JK. Called up our favorite credit union, Navy Federal, and got a check for the amount we wanted to spend. We done this 20+ times in the last 30 years, with no issues. Found a slightly used JLU Rubicon at Stephen Wade Toyota that had the features we wanted and was priced right. We were shocked when they told us they don't "work" with Navy Federal, only a couple local places and in house financing. So military or not, if they can't bend you over personally on financing they DO NOT want your business. They don't need to "work" with anyone, it's a simple two minute process to activate the check and they they are paid, but they need to get you coming and going. Shady and not military friendly.

We wanted a specific Toyota that we couldn't find locally. We discovered that Stephen Wade had the model and features we wanted, so emailed the dealership to learn more. Jessica Kroll reached out, and she was extremely helpful and kind. She answered all of our questions and walked us through the entire process. She even sent us videos of the outside and inside of the car, complete with tutorials on the many new features it has. She was very patient and kept us informed every step of the way. She's exactly who you'd want to help you with a big purchase like this!

Dishonest - not worthy of trust! "You don't get a second chance to make a first impression" I just moved to St. George and took my 2013 Avalon to Stephen Wade Toyota for routine service. Service adviser Micah calls me an hour later stating "we have a problem with one of my Michelin tires has a slow leak where it had been repaired." He has the same tire in stock for $275.00. I paid $202.00 at Costco but I agreed to have them replace that tire. PROBLEM, I get another call a few minutes later advising me that the "Low Pressure Sensor" was "broken off and loose inside the tire, but they could replace it for $97.00 and $75.00 to synchronize it with the other three tires. I advised "Micah" that I did not have a "Low Pressure" light on when I came into the dealership, I specifically asked, did you folks break when you used the breaker bar on the tire? Micah stated "oh no, if we did it we would Fess up". I declined the offer for a new sender and stated that I would have Costco take care of it. Costco tire manager confirms my suspicions and tells me that the sensor would lite up if the sender broke off in the tire and furthermore my tire would have lost all pressure if it had broken as they stated. Costco replaced the sensor and recalibrated all sensors for $46.00 thus saving me $126.00. Second strike, while paying my bill they charged me 2 1/2% for using my credit card. Seriously? Third strike, after locating my car I see the empty red bag that holds my "wheel lock" on the seat. I went back in and asked Micha where my lock was and he had to look for it and the technician thought it was theirs. This was a very frustrating "First experience" one that I call a "2 FER" two visits in one, the FIRST AND LAST!!!!!

Service center is by far the worst Toyota service center I've visited in the country. Most recent experience involved a recall replacement. I had a scheduled appointment. Waited 3 hours only to be told they had to order another part and couldn't finish the recall. And that I need To come back again another day. WTF did I wait 3 hrs for then.
